No, if AU wins by a hail mary or return a missed FG with no time left, it will be lucky. For some odd reason, the lord is on AU's side this season....

the missed FG was not lucky. saban elected to kick a 57 yarder and had nobody in the game that was fast enough to make a tackle in the event of a miss (which was at least 75%)

how is that luck?

furthermore, even if he doesn't return it for a TD, what makes you think alabama was going to win the game in OT? was it because there kicking game had been money that afternoon and auburn was unable to grind out first downs when they needed to?

You need to re-read neither of us wants the other to win EVER but if it's done a good for the state then some good has been accomplished.

don't understand the team sec concept?

auburn and michigan state are both 12-1. one team is playing for the national title while the other isn't... and it is because of the strength of the opponents they have faced.

it's really not a difficult concept to understand. when your opponents do well, it makes your own team's accomplishments shine brighter.

the only negative is it makes the recruiting more intense, but truth be told, the SEC bringing home crystal ball after crystal ball has strengthened recruiting in the conference across the board.
