Honestly I'm on the fence for the following reasons:

1. The kid didn't come back in.
2. Right now he is listed as day to day by the coaches.
3. Malzahn would look like an idiot since he spoke out about it at media days.
4. We had all 3 timeouts and the game was never close.
5. It wasn't like Arkansas was running like crazy to snap the ball anyway.
6. The defense hadn't been out there that long its not like they needed a break.

Looking at the film it looks like a dive but it just makes no sense why they would have done it. If it had given us a tactical advantage then I would probably would agree that he flopped I just can't see the advantage. It looked to me like Arkansas was subbing anyway so Auburn had the right to sub as well I just don't see even if he flopped how Auburn gained.

I'm more pissed they let them score when they should have been held to a field goal.

a win over any sec team...even if they are complete garbage but you still have to fake injuries to slow them down...is like beating the number 2 or 3 team on the road in any other conference...and a&m's whooping of utep was pretty impressive too

we're talking about the same UTEP team who gave up 59 to Colorado State and lost to Rice 45-7... hell, they even lost to UTSA

I don't think it's fake. I saw the video of the entire thing and he was a little gimpy walking back from the sideline.

Did he dive on purpose and oversell it? Yes. But they have to because they won't let the kids walk off the field. Auburn did already sub on that play, but he was on the far sideline and the subs were already back on the field before he even made it half way. So he falls down to stop play.

Since Arkansas isn't hurry up, they didn't gain anything from it. As I mentioned, they substituted like 6 guys already before the next play, Arkansas wasn't in hurry up, and they got basically no benefit.

Just an example of someone taking something out of context to give a false impression. The gif looks really bad, but in the context of the entire play/video, it doesn't.
