Why Does Everyone Think Auburn Should Jump Bama?

I just don't get it. I understand that people are obsessed with head-to-head. But Auburn won on a missed field goal return on the last play of a game where they were outgained 100 yards on their homefield. Their loss was much less impressive (against, LSU, in a game they were never really in). Auburn needed the Hail Mary against Georgia. Bama needed no such luck. Bama's only other test was a 7 point win over TAMU....which was a bigger MOV than Auburn.

Simply put, Bama has been the better, more dominant team. Rewarding Auburn because their head to head happened to be played in Jordan-Hare Stadium is stupid.

When are we going to stop letting the schedule-makers pick the champion and actually pick the better team?
