Meh. Vizcaino is capable of the job. Braves need a setup man. Minter is frustrating as hell. I personally like Biddle and Parsons as middle relief, but the 8th inning is questionable.

I wouldn’t be opposed to signing Kimberl and moving Viz to the 8th, but I do think it’s necessary

Is Kimbrel going to be what pushes over the Phillies or wins us a playoff series? Probably not. But he moves everyone in the pen down a slot which makes the pen better.

Minter, Viz and Kimbrel is a nasty back end of the bullpen when all 3 are healthy and dealing.

Kimbrel has been the only closer of the future we've ever had that worked out.

Shae Simmons got hurt and never made it back. Mauricio Cabrera is out of the game I think. AJ Minter looks more like a lefty specialist than a closer.

That, and our infield defense ranks near the top in the Majors while the Orioles ranked near the bottom, and for a ground ball pitcher, that makes a huge difference.
