Seriously, when is the last time Minter had a 1-2-3 inning? Only one I can remember was against the Nationals early in the year.

Jonny Venters got his first save in 7 years yesterday.

I'd take him over anyone in our pen other than Winkler, Carle and maybe Viz(his last few outings have been shutdown, so I'm holding on to hope there).

Syndergaard is going to the DL.

Kinda disappointed. He's a great pitcher, but at the same time, he's never beaten us, and we've handled him better than most teams.

First pitch will be delayed, but shouldn't be long. It's been rainy all day here, but cleared out a couple hours ago and never got as bad as everyone thought it would.
