I'll probably always complain during the losing game, but at the end of a series, I'll never complain about taking 3 of 4, especially on the road.

A split would have left a real bad taste in my mouth.

Biddle is Clutch. Thats like the 4th or 5th time he has pitched out of trouble in extras this year

Venters and Brach have both looked good too.

Bullpen as a whole has been really good lately. Minter has been great lately too, but players are gonna run into one against you every now and then.

Just not having Sam Freeman and Peter Moylan in the pen is a vast improvement.

Nationals were hot when we played a 4 game series with with them earlier in the year. They were actually in first place for a day. We took 3 of 4, and would have had a sweep if Snit leaves McCarthy in for one more inning.

Also, team has had better results in extra innings lately too. Think we've won our last 3 extra inning games unless I'm forgetting one.

Jackson sucks, but every team has that mop up duty guy. What made our pen so terrible before was we had 3 mop up duty guys, and that meant at least one of them was gonna have to be used in tight spots.

I still cant get over 40% of Baserunners against Julio are Walks. Thats an amazing stat, if he could cut out half of those he would be having an All Star season.

I'm sure they'll bring him back, but I'm all for spending whatever it takes to get him and their pitching coach here. If Charlie fucking Morton can be a Cy Young candidate, I'd love to see what that dude could do with Folty and Newcomb.

Who would you prefer to see in the 5 spot for the Braves?

I just follow baseball scores. I doubt if I could name 10 baseball players currently playing. It once was number 1 with me, back in the 50's and 60's. Now I haven't seen a regular season game live or on TV this century.

Apparently the last game I went to was with my son in 1996. The game is too slow for me. Too many pitching changes, too much of the manager being allowed on the field to argue.
