Alderidge isn't old....it's the rest of the team.

In the Western conference you need more than Aldridge, Leonard and Duncan and a good bench. The Spurs are going to need Parker to look more like the 2012 version than the 2014 version IMO. Ginobli there is no hope for anymore....he is what he is at this point (an over the hill SG who can still give you a decent 20 minutes). Without Parker looking like he did 2 years ago, the Spurs just don't have enough. In years past that might have been enough but now (on paper of course) a team like GS has a better top 3 and a better bench if Parker looks like he did last year.

And also remember that while Alderidge isn't old, he isn't young either. He'll be on the wrong side of 30 after this coming Sunday. We have probably seen his best at this point.

The Spurs have to be considered the favorites at this point.
