From Gilbert to Mike Brown to Ferry to every single teammate he played with, the disparity between what was accomplished with LeBron and what has been accomplished without him is so colossal, the things LeBron did accomplish in Cleveland look all the more incredible.

Given all of the evidence since his departure, LeBron's seasons in Cleveland deserve to be viewed as testaments, rather than indictments, to his greatness.

You are not kidding. Two #1 picks in three years and they were back in the lottery again.

Oh and a big fat LOL at Skip Clueless for saying Johnny Manziel will be bigger in Cleveland than LeBron.

That mother fucker is just not living in reality.
I saw a funny tweet the other day......."not sure what's harder for me to do to do. Explaining to my young son about Michael Sam or why Skip Bayless makes 7 figures."

I don't think lebron has ever been about the money. But if Cleveland can only offer him $8m a year, he's not going to give up a $100m contract the celtics or lakers can offer him.

But for what it's worth, I don't see him leaving Miami

Lebron will never go to the Bulls, Lakers, and probably the Knicks. Doesn't want to be in the shadow of MJ, Kobe, and MSG. He wants to do it on another team.

Yep, he literally carried the whole franchise. Look at what Mike Brown has done since, the FO is awful, and the team around what mediocre at best. Pretry incredible to me, he doesn't receive the praise he should.

While I agree that he won't be playing for any of those teams I think your wrong about why. In Chicago and L.A. he wouldn't be in anyone's shadow, he'd be part of a continuing legacy and the one who restored them to championship status. He'd be viewed as a hero.

In New York, playing in MSG, he would become an absolute legend. Especially if he brought the Knicks a championship.

TLF, the Lakers always used draft picks or valuable trade assets to rebuild. Of all players acquired only one stud came from free agency with out giving up assets, and that was Shaq. Trades require assets. It's how the nba rolls

Lebron will never play for cleveland for one main reason.......the front office is CLUELESS.

If Gilbert went out and hired the best FO money could buy, that knows how to build a champion, they'd have a chance a getting Lebron.

Lebron went to Miami because of Pat Riley. All he did was show him his rings, and tell him "I KNOW how to get you these" - that was the entire pitch.

Kobe might still be on the team, but will always be the man and he won't play with Kobe. I don't think he will play with Melo, but you are right he will be a god there. I don't think he would play with Melo either.

For someone who is a Lebron fan, you sure seem to think he's petty and shortsighted.

Kobe is only a Laker for 2 more years. If Lebron decided he wants to play for the Lakers, Kobe would not be an issue for him. He's not that shortsighted. He would see both the immediate and long term value of being a Laker and having his name up there with Magic, Kareem, Shaq, Kobe, West, etc.

I could see Lebron/Kobe in a similar situation as Magic/Kareem. Lebron would say it's Kobe's team, Kobe would say it's Kobe's team, but everyone and their brother would know that it's really Lebron's team. It doesn't really matter though, because as I've said before, I believe the Lakers will put together a very attractive offer for Lebron, but he won't be a Laker. I think he stays in Miami at least as long as Riley is the GM.

In Chicago, he would be viewed much the same as if he were to be a Laker and would end up with a statue right next to MJ's.

I tend to agree about the Knicks because of 'Melo. As much of a willing passer as Lebron is, 'Melo's demand for iso's all of the time wouldn't work with Lebron's game. When it comes to demanding shots, 'Melo makes Kobe look like Steve Nash.

The Knicks would have to get rid of 'Melo to bring in Lebron and they have far less roster flexibility and cap room than the Lakers which means Lebron would be waiting for those other contracts to expire before they could truly contend for anything. He'd make them dangerous in the east, but not contenders.

It would be like a dog that goes back and eats his vomit - Lebron isn't a dog though - he is an intelligent human being with two titles and mabe 3

That's the NY state of mind… They can worship you and then forget you in the same day… Maybe even the same hour?

No way Lebron goes back to Cleveland. No way Lebron leaves Miami. He is winning here and Pat Riley has proven to him that he can and will do what it takes to continue that. Lebron has a good relationship with the Coach and the front office. He is looking to start up a soccer team with Beckham in Miami. Plus he is living in MIAMI, why would he go to any other city? The only other city in the country with nicer weather is San Diego and they dont have a team. I have lived in Miami, Orlando, LA, Chicago Toronto and now NYC and there is no city like Miami.

I just can't see Lebron going to Chicago for an entirely different reason. There's deep rivalry with the likes of Gibson, Noah, etc.

I can't see Lebron going to the Lakers, simply because of Jim Buss who's making a run at being the worse owner in the league outside of Gilbert and Sterling. Besides, I just can't see Lebron trying to help Kobe win rings when alot of people are trying to watch him chase legends (Bird, Magic, Jordan, etc...).

It'll be interesting to see what Pat Riley does in the coming years. I think Wade has 2-3 years left, 4 max at playing at this level. From here on out, he's (Wade) going to have to be put on some type of maintenance plan to conserve his body for the playoffs. Bosh will likely be the odd man out either after this season or next season as the Heat simply aren't getting enough return for what they're paying. Unless he opts out of his deal and takes about $10-$12 mil per year - which I just don't see happening.

Agree with the first point.

Agree with the second, but only to a point. I think Jim Buss is getting a little bit of a bum rap. I agree that it has taken him a little while to kind of get his bearings since Dr. Buss passed, but he seems to be doing better and I like the way they are going about the coaching search. It feels more like it did when Dr. Buss was alive.

I disagree about Bosh. When the deal was made, one of the big 3 was going to have to be the one who played 3rd wheel and sacrificed the most in terms of touches and credit and it was always going to have to be Bosh. Obviously, I don't follow the Heat as closely as you do, but from what I have seen, he has willingly been the "understudy" for Lebron and D-Wade and has done a pretty good job of stepping up when one of them is out.

One of the things that people questioned when the big 3 came together was: What happens when 3 guys who are all used to being the #1 option and are in their primes find out that they all have to share one basketball? The Heat struggled some in their 1st season together as Lebron and D-Wade tried to sort out who was going to be the "leader". Imagine how much worse it could have been if Bosh started complaining about his "touches" or not getting enough "credit".

LeBron has know reason to return to Cleveland. Apparently Irving isn't interested in resigning. They've already attempted to trade Waiters. They might have a new GM, but the previous one completely blew it on draft day last year. The Cavs are a mess.

Here'$ and article from January explaining why more than likely, Irving will be $taying in Cleveland until at lea$t until 2018.

Why would he go back to the Cavs? They have no coach, the owner does like LeBron and even thought it's a better team than the one LeBron took to the NBA Finals.....this team sucks. They need to make major changes for him to go back.

But my point is no matter what he will be compared to those players if he were go to LA or Chicago.
