Seriously. Life was simpler when the issue we were faced with was trying way to hard to discredit a geniunely nice, albeit woefully under-talented for the NFL, guy.

Sounds a lot like Roger Goodell

/well, maybe not the genuinely nice part

Maybe the game tonight willl end in a tie.

New rules, no more ties. Two defenders line up on the 10, offensive player given ball at the 20 and gets three tries to score.

I guess that's a better method than comparing player rap sheets.

You are a genius dash. I cannot believe nobody put the dots together before.

The NFL's problem is many of its players have rap sheets (some rather lengthy) - but few if any of the leagues coaches do. That is where the disconnect happens - these players need their coaches to understand them, and a coach with a squeaky clean rap sheet just isn't going to cut it.

Get rid of the Rooney rule, and implement a rule that any coaching vacancy needs to have a certain percentage of its candidates having been convicted of multiple misdemeanors, a couple of gross misdemeanors, or at least one felony. The NFL could turn its image on a dime (or two dimes in Shady's case) instead of being a league of thugs to a league of redemption and second chances.

/this is my platform to run on as I heard there may be a vacancy soon at the top of the NFL

On the pregame show on the radio, Boomer Esiason blasted ESPN, and said their obsessive handling and coverage of the Ray Rice incident is disgraceful. He stated how they have showed the TMZ video numerous times, and even slowed it down to analyze it.

He went on to say that the most important part of this whole thing, is that their is a victim, and her name is Janay Rice. He said how hard it must be for her right now, and she doesn't deserve this.

Well, all those outraged facebookians of this week seem to have forgiven.

What do you mean? Do you feel that fans that were ( and probably still are) unhappy with the way things were handled should not cheer for their team?

That's too bad. The song has a killer beat to it, and I think it was a very big hit for her?

I hope she doesn't view it as a slap in the face or anything.

As far as the game is concerned.....This pretty much sums up the Steelers:

Dan Snyder's been running things like an asshole for years... but I can't help that he owns my favorite team.

Very happily surprised. I'm not sure how good they are but 0-2 with 2 losses at home would have been a disaster.

Big Ben's streak of having at least 1 passing TD in a game is over at 30.

Congrats on the win, Comeds.
