I wouldn't. They have a defense and a great RB. If they believe Wentz will be an elite QB(obviously they do), they'll never regret it if they are right

And yet the Cardinals have managed to win 34 games in 3 seasons without a franchise QB. It must suck to be them...
It did when Palmer was hurt. Just like Dallas without Romo, they sucked

The Rams are giving up an enormous bounty for sure. But, if Carson Wentz becomes the next Brett Favre, and Mariota busts, well, we will hear a lot about this trade.

Not saying that will happen, just saying, it is always too early to judge a trade like this before players take the field.

The Rams are moving to LA. They need a face for the franchise. So you have to factor that in here as well. If this guy becomes even a top 15 QB, it's a good trade for the Rams, business wise, as they seek to win back fans in La La Land.

Yep, injuries suck. But it was Palmer + Stanton being hurt that was the problem. They were winning with Stanton as the QB.

Exactly....This trade cant be judged until we see what the QB turns into

Its being reported they prefer Goff, which would be a huge mistake, but I agree with your point

Why do people keep saying "they have a defense"?

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb

I like Wentz. He'll be solid. The Rams also needed a QB. Lets rewind a bit.

THE RAMS HAD THE #2 OVERALL PICK 2 YEARS AGO!

What kind of idiots get put in this position and still have a job?!?

Even if Wentz is good, the Rams are only set at RB, RT, S, DT, DE and P. The rest of the talent is decent but they just lost all of their depth.

Holy f#%* the Rams are idiots. Even if Wentz pans out, they traded out of a draft that had a solid 2nd-3rd round and no depth later in the draft.

Why do people keep saying "they have a defense"?

Because for the people not seeing it,

The Rams defense was second in the NFL in red zone defense
They were third in the NFL in rushing touchdowns allowed
They were fifth in the NFL in passing touchdowns allowed
With Ogletree, Gaines, and Quinn missing most of the year
Going against one of the hardest schedules
Youngest team in the league

In order for the trade to be worth it, Wentz has to be on Mariota and Winston's level from last year

If the QB pans out the Rams will be fine. A stud QB is priceless.

Nice haul by the Titans though.

They were:
-23rd in ppg
-23rd in pypg
-20th in rypg
-11th in sacks
-18th in first downs 14thP/18thP
-9th in takeaways

Yep, those are some great numbers for an elite defense you build around...

I meant Titans sorry.

If they're not going to get Tunsil or Ramsey, I wonder who they target in the top 10? Jack? I'm not sure there is another guy worth trading up for. Buckner is a nice 3-4 DE fit, but do you trade up for him? idk.

Ok ive come off my cliff and think the Rams will trade Keenum to the Broncos, Foles to 49ers, and Mannion to anybody who needs a qb.

Bend don't break

Giving up touchdowns is more important than yards, bottom line.
PPG allowed is only inflated because it includes offensive mistakes and special teams mistakes.

My stats were the important stats, not some bullshit yards allowed and wavey PPG allowed stat.
