I think they should do that TE screen for Ebron like they did for Pettigrew the last couple of years.

Agree. I think the fake screen one way, throw the screen the other way would work excellent with Ebron.

Those who are watching the game over -- Let me know what Ravioli looks like. I don't usually notice individual linemen, but Ravioli lets Hughes run right by him on the one sack and doesn't block anybody. Then #93 steam rolls him over and sacked Stafford on another play.

Curious how he was the rest of the game? I know he played really well for us last year, but wondering if he is struggling this year. I didn't pay too much attention where the pressure was coming from the rest of the game, but a lot of it seems to be up the middle.

That may not even be in the playbook anymore. New offense and new coordinator. I'm game for getting Ebron the ball anywhere though. I just want to see him get used.

Im getting a little frustrated with that too but none of our TEs are being used really. Thats kind of wierd to me considering Pettigrew has had his share of looks in the past.

Well in my rewatch of the first half, Raiola does seem confused on which side to help at times. Blitz pickup not a strength. Pressure mostly coming from left side, then on the right side Warford made some mistakes. Like I said, IMO overall not as bad as some think. On my live viewing of the second half I thought they were pretty good. Gonna get to that "rewatch" after nyg/phi

Play action was bad. Recognizing blitz was bad. Roll outs actually worked. Seems like the screen game is under utilized, as well.

I think they should do that TE screen for Ebron like they did for Pettigrew the last couple of years.

Usually slows the rush down. Another adjustment that could be made. Seems I defend Stafford when I do not watch.

Saints do these types of plays all the time. I'm guessing plays like this won't be installed until everyone has a full grasp of the offense. So while I would agree its probably not in the playbook, I have a feeling we'll start to see these types of plays as the season progresses.

TE and RB is where the mismatches will be. Y'all got me scratching my head at Lombardi now. He made good adjustments I thought at halftime of of the 3 games I watched. Wierd that seems none in Bills or Vikes games.

Its hard to figure out if the Vikings blitzes were that well disguised, or if the Lions should've been able to pick them up.

No need to scratch your head about Lomardi yet though. I think they just scheme different for every opponent. They ran a lot of three TE sets in the first game but not much after that. I would think Pettigrew would silently be doing a little damage catching balls in the short, middle of the field in this offense.

I'm just thankful for our all-pro cornerbacks. Otherwise, teams would be putting Madden numbers up on us.

You mean to tell me teams aren't scoring over 30+ a game on us? I was told all offseason that was gonna happen.

I am just glad I was not on the Whiz wagon. Was not on the Caldwell wagon either. Caldwell brought us Austin. So I am very glad I was wrong with Caldwell.

Several posters have been very quiet on this issue lately.

I'm also curious as to how the 'CBs are more important than DTs' crowd is making this all compute.

Oh, sure. The defense got some of the 'pretty' stats this week, but they've been dominant all year.
