Pollard may be fantastic in spurts and he may even be a Kamara type (not saying as good but similar type skill set) but I suspect he will never be Zeke. Zeke is a legit superstar. But he still shouldn't get $15M a year two years early and with his off the field issues and certainly not by doing it the wrong way and holding out. Next year? Sure if he is still great and stops getting into trouble.Yeah, I just wanted to use a quote from GodFather We shall see. I just think theres something extra special about him. He just like one of those dudes where youre up 5 with 6 minutes to go and you giver him the ball 9 straight times and he runs the clock out. But they have a fantastic run blocking line maybe they dont need to invest heavily at RB. Really I dont know but I think they suffer a bit without him... unless this new kid is as good as everyone is saying.
Could you imagine if Zeke sits and Pollard runs for 178 and 212 the first two games. Zeke will shit himself.
It can happen they have a good line.Yeah, I just wanted to use a quote from GodFather We shall see. I just think theres something extra special about him. Yep, and I'm banking on that line. Zeke makes the team better no doubt, but there's enough talent across the team where Zeke sitting ends the seasonIt can happen they have a good line.
You must be deranged if you think a random 100 yard day refutes anything. You can't even grasp the difference between the real backs and the fake backs that can't hack it. Yet you want to yap about it. Pretty sad.and they are a dime a dozen, you can pick one off the street and him run for 100+ 3 days later, we saw that last year. #RBDontmatter. Metrics back it up. All of your what if statements, and this and that are meaningless unless you actually bring some real data. Your just spewing mindless BS
Did you think I forgot how the Steelers PR team messed your brain up? Lol, this topic is above you.right the steelers missed the playoffs because they didnt have bell........you really do have holes in your brain....
Mike Tomlin and Ben being terrible leaders is a part of the equation. Of course that's also related to the Bell situation and how extremely useful backs like Bell and Zeke get fucked financially by the league compared to their peers. You should at least understand that.LOL
Love when someone looks at something in a vacuum.

RBs do get screwed. That I agree.Mike Tomlin and Ben being terrible leaders is a part of the equation. not sure what I am reading on here.
if that.not sure what I am reading on here.
but what I take from it is.....
Zeke should only get paid top ten money according to this

All the RBs are supposed to get paid. They are all being fucked. They get hit the most and get the smallest piece of the pie every year.
Yeah, that's why they're the biggest bodies on the field. And when compared to RBs, the good linemen are getting paid for their work. That would be the dline and oline.....Thats where it all starts and ends......
I tend to side with zeke on this. Running backs are being devalued in football these days, particularly first-round draft picks. Teams essentially run them into the ground and have the flexibility to avoid a major payday with a fifth-year option and up to two franchise tags.
He's arguably the best RB in football, and is involved in something crazy like 90% of the teams offensive snaps.
How does this end?
