Kickers are psychotic and you never know when they'll crack. The few that aren't rarely get loose.

RB's do the most on the football field after the QB. A couple dorks simplifying variable events just so they can perform some arithmetic and extrapolate it doesn't change that.
Sure the RB does a lot of work. But the difference between an average and the best is not that wide of a gap. Certainly not worth an extra 8-10M a season.

Last season Bell and Gurley showed that. Having an average RB as opposed to an elite doesn't change the outcome of many games.

Better sign him before the idle time gets him in trouble again.

And make sure you can cut him if he fucks up, gets hurt or his production drops.

I have visions of another Dez Bryant.

It is wide and a 400 touch back is 8-10m more useful than an injury prone back, a 3rd down back or a young back that can't block.

The Steelers missed the playoffs after making it every year with Bell. Their young back only had about 10 games in him.

Gurley dominated the league and got the Rams the #1 seed. Then he was useless and so were the Rams. 3 points.

and they are a dime a dozen, you can pick one off the street and him run for 100+ 3 days later, we saw that last year. #RBDontmatter. Metrics back it up. All of your what if statements, and this and that are meaningless unless you actually bring some real data. Your just spewing mindless BS

So I read something that popped up on my homepage that said the Cowboys offered Zeke #2 money just below the Gurley deal but above Bell. Is that true? If so, I think Zeke should take it and show up to play. I get that he's the best in tge game and all but those other 2 are grossly overpaid, imo.

PS. The Gurley signing I could sort of understand but the Bell one is awful. Just imo. To me, Bell isn't even top 5 anymore and with the headaches he brings, even less.

I wouldn't pay him, I've said that. I'd tell him he can show up and play through at least this year and keep clean and we will explore his demands or he an retire. Zero fucks given by me, we aren't a SB favorite with or without him.

I disagree with this. I think Dallas is 100% a SB contender (maybe not favorite) with Zeke and I think they are NOT a contender without Zeke. But I’m one of the few that think Zeke is fucking tremendous and the best player on a team loaded with star talent.

his wins above replacement rating. about 1/2 a game

Yeah, I just wanted to use a quote from GodFather :) We shall see. I just think theres something extra special about him. He just like one of those dudes where youre up 5 with 6 minutes to go and you giver him the ball 9 straight times and he runs the clock out. But they have a fantastic run blocking line maybe they dont need to invest heavily at RB. Really I dont know but I think they suffer a bit without him... unless this new kid is as good as everyone is saying.
Could you imagine if Zeke sits and Pollard runs for 178 and 212 the first two games. Zeke will shit himself.
