Their stats say they are just about equal.

No they aren't. Watson has better stats despite the fact he plays behind one of the worst olines in the NFL and doesnt have the 2nd best RB in the NFL taking the focus of defenses.

Watson returning less than a year from tearing up his knee still greatly outperformed Dak despite attempting less passes behind a far inferior oline.

You would post those stats you just went and looked up if you believed this.

So Dak threw a games worth of more passes than Watson last season, Dak playing behind one of the best offensive lines in the NFL with one of the best RBs in the NFL to open things up for his passing game and despite this he still:

Threw 4 less TDs and 280 less yards. Had a lower ypa, had a lower complettiopercentage, had a lower TD%, had a lower QB rating. All of this despite more attempts behind a competent oline.

Meanwhile the guy coming off of major knee surgery behind one of the worst olines in the NFL still managed to outperform Dak.

Again, no one outside of Cowboys fans would take Dak over Watson. If you swap the players the Cowboys become a much better team and the Texans do not make the playoffs.

Meh, we went 3-3 without him and the three losses were when Tyron didn't play. We have a better defense now, a better OL, and better WR's.
True. And Witten helps the line and provides some more receiving options. It’s not like the whole offense revolves around Zeke. But it’s not nearly as successful without him.

So is Zeke really preparing himself to sit out two years for a new contract?

Have we really hit this point in the NFL?

I think Zeke needs to stand on principle and hold out all year if necessary.

Weird take for a Dak hater like yourself, since Watson is a spot on comparison for Dak. Difference is Watson has had a top 5 WR to throw to.

Dak has a top WR, an extremely better OLine and, IMO, the games best RB. I think Dak is a good QB but Watson is better.

For someone who tries to point to Dak missing one offensive lineman in 2017 for why he looked like hot garbage for a stretch without Zeke, he sure is disregarding how Watson has been outperforming Dak while playing behind a vastly inferior offensive line.

Watson sure was impressive in his playoff game....guess that was his oline too.

you eagle fan's sure think about the Dallas Cowboys and vastly becoming worse the Washington fans in that regard

well....he was 0-3 with Smith out and 3-0 when Smith returned

spin again pep squader

So 0-3 without Smith. Jeez think about how much of a disaster Dak would be behind the Texans' oline then.

yep....it's all the oline and Zeke....anyone could play QB for Dallas :rolleyes2:

Aikman had the same issues

So what is it? Dak went 0-3 because he was missing one piece of his great offensive line or having a good offensive line isn't important for a QB?

Dak has had a great one his entire career. Watson has been behind an awful one. Despite this Watson has been a better QB than Dak, even coming off of a major knee surgery. And if Dak is that effected by missing just one part of his great line then imagine how he would have looked facing the constant consistent pressure that Watson has had to deal with in Houston.

yep''''watson was sacked the most because of the oline and Dak was sacked the second most cause he holds the ball to long

oh....other than fantasy, I remain on the fence post with regards to who is the better QB, but you have had it....maybe post it another 10 times or something.

for me...it's kinda like the wentz comparison. He has a pretty solid oline, some say a better oline than Dallas. He was drafted #2 in the draft, yet he's only been better than Dak in 1 or 3 years....but he's better too.

I'm thinking having Frederick back will be a bigger help to the OL than Zeke.

If he sits out two years his career is over.

Zeke is a dumb fuck and wouldn't know a principle if it jumped up and kissed him on the lips.

His agent on the other hand just wants his %age....
