Don't watch Talking Dead if you don't want spoilers.

Even Talking Dead, which I usually think sucks, was good this week. And the guy who plays Eugene let one slip, even though it probably wasn't hard to guess.

The preview: that was the hospital, right? Who are they burying?

My guess: Carol and Dawn bond in some strange way, Dawn gets killed and this is a 'respect' thing. That's just too much of an obvious tease for it to be Beth, and Carol wouldn't have to thank Daryl for doing it.

I dont know if Dawn could bond with Carol, since Carol is probably the best person out there to actually take her place, just like the doctors. We all know Beth saw Carol in the hospital, so it would really suck if this is the reason Daryl is shaken coming out of the bushes.

Thoughts after first viewing...

1) did the tv audience know Abe and Rosita were together before this ep? I was wondering if they were going to go there before this. Did I miss it, or was this the "coming out" for them?

2) was my tv fucked up, or was the night scene in the library VERY hard to see? I played with the brightness on my tv, but it did not become any more clear. Same deal with the herd. I was not able to make out exactly what they were looking out, outside of following the story and listening to the dialog. Visibly, it was clear.

3) so why did the bus flip over? I know Eugene put glass in the fuel line, but since when does that cause a car to flip over?

4) nice back story for Abe. I hope they use this story-telling device more often. Even going pre-ZA, like they did with Michone, and the little they did with Rick and Shane.

5) Maggie ignoring the Beth situation still feels like a pretty big plot hole, but this ep is really just a continuation of that same theme from a couple eps back.

The crushed glass didn't cause the bus to flip, it was the horde of Walkers that were crossing the road which caused Abe to swerve and the bus to flip.

Well I guess now Glen and Maggie will be heading back to try hooking up w/ Rick's group again?
Do you think they'll stumble upon the hospital and Beth/Carol beforehand?

Most of us already figured Eugene was full of crap from the get go....and now I think he'll become a polar opposite of who he is, and turns into a complete sadistic villain. Abraham's character could be in his final days. Maybe Rosita & Tara become a couple now?

Exactly.....if someone is dumb enough to visit these types of threads prior to watching the episode, then they deserve to have the episode spoiled. A person needs to take accountability for their own dumb mistakes instead of blaming other folks for 'ruining things'.

So.....I have a question for you west coast viewers.....are you going to be stupid again next week and visit this & similar threads prior to watching the episode? Or perhaps you might actually learn from your silly mistakes so that you don't repeat them?

Remember the old saying: 'fool me once, shame on you..........fool me twice, shame on me'

:suds:

Wow I had that all wrong, I thought it was "Fool me once, shame on, shame on you. Fool me, can't get fooled again."

IDK if it can be Dawn. It was supposedly a sneak peek to NEXT episode. This next episode is what Daryl and Carol were up to BEFORE Carol gets brought into hospital(intentional or not).

It may just be some little kid or something(body didn't look big) and it was too soon after Lizzie and Mika that Carol needed help with it or something.

1. Nope that was pretty much the first go around of that. Not many signs or anything.

2. Not your Tv. Very dark scene

3. I assumed it was just the glass that Eugene did maybe helped by the quick jerk of the wheel by Abe

4. I like the back stories as well

5. Best part of this is she told Glenn how she felt guilt being on a "vacation" while Rick and the group where stuck at the Church. No mention of missing beth LOLOLOLOLOL.

SO MUCH THE BOLDED. I couldn't see or hear wtf was going on thru the whole damn episode. They were mumbling their asses off thru the whole thing too. I was bitching to my wife the whole time..."WHAT THE FUCK AM I LOOKING AT!?"

One other tidbit I forgot to mention in my first write-up...

Watch the opening scene again. As the walkers are approaching the turned-over bus, one of the walkers looks like she crapped her pants when she died. She has a stain running down her leg and a HUGE brown stain on her shirt over her ass.

I laughed my "ass" off when I saw that.

we dont know when it is. Maybe carol and beth escape and daryl is waiting outside for them and beth does not make it. They would not show that much care for a person they didnt know to somehow find a pure white sheet to wrap her in, unless it was one of the sheets they use to tie together to make the rope.

As far as the bus flip, the only logical thing you would lose would be the power steering when the engine died, which made the car slower to react to avoid the abandoned car in the road.

No it can't be Beth either. We know that is next episode which takes place during the miss time from Daryl and Carol leaving in the car and Daryl returning. He is still with Carol at this point. Beth is still alive when Carol is brought into the hospital.

He hasn't even went to get Rick and the gang. I have no idea who it is but it is not Dawn and it is 100% not beth.

Eve if it were possible, they wouldn't tease that. It's what they want people to think, that is all.

While I subscribe to your timeline of when the next episode takes place (between when D&C leave the group in the car and when Carol gets rolled into the hospital), we don't KNOW this to be the case (unless you are referring to spoilers out there that I am unaware of).

Also, it looked like Daryl was relatively unaffected by the funeral pyre, so I doubt it was Beth. Daryl was MUCH closer to Beth than Carol ever was. Further, I don't think it was Lizzie or Mika, because the pyre is on a roof top, not at a cabin.

Pretty cool how that high pressure fire hose absolutely annihilates the walkers and shatters them like glass.

btw: What was that written message on the ground after that scene?
Was it a warning left there by the firemen?

Nope this has nothing to do with spoiler I accidentally read. It just doesn't make any sense for it to be Beth based on the timeline on less the pull a flashward within a flashback episode which would just be weird. And considering rick and clan are coming why would only carol and Daryl stay back to burn Beth? You hit it with Beth and Daryl being close. I meant to mention that. If it was Beth the situation would be reversed. Carol would be doing it for Daryl.

And regarding Lizzie i didn't say it was her, I said "too soon" after meaning carol couldn't pull herself to deal with death of another kid so soon.

Yes it was a warning saying the truck was blocking in walkers.

1) I'm pretty sure the audience wasn't aware that Abraham and Rosita were banging prior to last night's episode.

2) The library scene was hard to see as was the herd in the field.

3-5) My thoughts exactly!

I thought it was a spoiler because Daryl was crying, and I don't know who he would cry for other than Beth. But Carol did seem fine like she was never injured so it might have been beforehand.

I don't think Eugene's dead even though they made that hilarious "splat" sound when his head hit the ground.

It will be interesting to see D&Cs story. The body must be someone we haven't met yet.

Interesting thought about that, though...

Why would Carol need "help" with it? She doesn't care about he own daughter anymore and was able to bury Lizzie and Mika. Why would she need Daryls strength in disposing of ANYONE anymore? I think there will be a big character-change for Carol in this episode.

No way in hell is Eugene dead. First, it would be insanely anti-climactic to kill him like that. Second, his character has a ton of potential moving forward. He is smart AND he is learning how to kill. He can be dangerous.
