Eugene = the WD's latest psychopathic protagonist ?
Eugene = the WD's latest psychopathic protagonist ?
It will be interesting to see D&Cs story. The body must be someone we haven't met yet.
Interesting thought about that, though...
Why would Carol need "help" with it? She doesn't care about he own daughter anymore and was able to bury Lizzie and Mika. Why would she need Daryls strength in disposing of ANYONE anymore? I think there will be a big character-change for Carol in this episode.
No way in hell is Eugene dead. First, it would be insanely anti-climactic to kill him like that. Second, his character has a ton of potential moving forward. He is smart AND he is learning how to kill. He can be dangerous.
I don't see him as psychopathic at all. He is just very intelligent and has no social skills. He went too far with the lie, but he realized that and has decided to take his medicine for it. He also stabbed a walker in close combat and took out a dozen with a unique, thoughtful way to use what is available. He is trying to make himself more valuable without having to lie to everyone.
Agreed. If anything, his story might play out as ultimately sacrificing himself for the group.
Gonna be interesting to see how Abe's character develops. The screws are loose on that one and can't be tightened, I think.

I see it oppositely.
He was done when he lost his family. Not only them getting killed, but them running from him after they saw him kill the baddies in the store. However, saving Eugene and meeting up with all these people he has grown to care for (especially Rosita), I think he can certainly "come back".
The break from Eugene will ultimately be good for him, though. He will be able to be himself again, now that he can be his own person, outside of Eugene's control. It may take a while for this to happen though. He and Eugene will not "make nice" for at least a few episodes.
I think he respects Glenn enough to take a back seat to him for a short while as he rights himself.
Definitely, I think Glenn has proven that he can be a leader as well. When Rick was losing his mind, Glenn was there to help him. We saw Glenn's capabilities when he was searching for his wife, he can be just as scary as anyone.
On a side note, how many of you would have continued with Abraham after the bus broke down? 15 miles away from the group I think I would refuse to continue on foot, having to stand guard at night would suck.

I didn't see the preview, but ima be pissed if somehow she had some head trauma/amnesia er some shit, and reverted back to Season One, Carol.

Smarter than Abe, obviously.
His intelligence, be it overstated or not, is the only "weapon" he has utilized. It's how he's survived this long.
I'm sure these part 2 episodes have been pretty polarizing. Lots of good character development, not a lot of anything else. My gf just said 'I think Walking Dead should be a show we put lower priority on' during this one.
I'm totally into it, though, even if certain characters motivations don't make any sense and they are killing plot arcs very quickly. Season 2 had 1 plot arc. This season has had 4 so far and it doesn't seem to have a larger picture now that the trip to Washington is canceled.

Well somehow all the gang will end up in Alexandria,VA.
This may be the point of introducing Noah. Keep them on their way to Alexandria.
At this point, I expect the Abe-group to turn around and head back to the church. Better to be a larger group than 2 smaller groups. Then, after the hospital arc is done (next week?) the whole group decides to go with Noah to his home, "with walls".
I think the hospital arc is going up to mid season finale. No way it ends Sunday. Sunday is just Daryl and carol and it will end with getting back to Daryl and Noah coming out of the woods.
Ep 7 will get the clan involved in fight with the hospital. And the finale will be the climax.
