I hope the writers don't kill off the new villain played by Christine Woods too soon. She's a hottie!
Let me start by saying this whole storyline is not in the comics, so anything I say on this arc is just conjecture and extrapolation on my part.
I am almost certain that it is Noah with Daryl. This has been rumored since last week when that scene happened, and the events of this ep, I think, darn near confirms it. Daryl does seem disturbed, somehow, so I am not sure that he and Noah are on good terms. I think that they are with each other out of neccesity, though, and Daryl is trusting him to get the group to the hospital to free Beth and Carol.
Noah is going back home, which is Virginia. Convenient. He did say that they have walls back home. AFZ, anyone? (Sorry, slight comic referance, there)
When Noah got away, I thought Beth was looking at him with betrayal. However, on TTD, Emily Kinney said specifically that she was looking at him with a smile, glad that at least he got away. If they need to explain the scenes after the fact, that is either bad acting or bad directing. They are falling into this too much this season.
Overall, a rather slow and boring ep, IMHO, but is building up to something, so I am OK with that. It is impossible to have a HR with every episode. After 5.1 and 5.2, they have earned a few bad/off weeks.
This:Dafuq u talkin bout?
Whats so great about this show? I havent seen it but somebody sell me on it and i will watch. Dont say zombies, i will slap the shit out of you!
Is she the cop? She's way hotter in that picture than she is on the show.I hope the writers don't kill off the new villain played by Christine Woods too soon. She's a hottie!

While I'm sure it must be Noah too, I'm a bit confused by this. Not that it really matters but just curious as to why a character that never appeared before would have been rumored to be the mystery person, especially if none of this is in the comics (thanks for mentioning that because I was curious about that too). Is Noah at least a comic book character? Or was Noah never specifically named in these rumors, but what you meant was that it was simply rumored that Daryl returned with someone from the clan that has Beth?
Daryl is probably disturbed for a number of reasons including the one you mentioned. Nobody ever seems too trusting of anyone new anymore. But if he does believe Noah then he now knows Beth is not only being held captive, but that she was recaptured while trying to escape which would likely make her stay even more unpleasant than it already was, and now Carol has joined her. But at least he now knows where they are, and that they aren't being eaten.
I thought it was pretty clear that she was smiling. That isn't really difficult to see and in no way is it the director's fault that you didn't recognize her smiling. Perhaps it was bad viewing?
And I completely disagree about this episode being boring. We finally get to see where Beth is and it's an entirely new world with brand new characters. I thought this episode was great.
She was. I'm not sure where Carol is but I think Noah was found by Daryl...why would Carol be in hiding at this time and Daryl saying "come on out"unless it was someone nobody knew? This new group in Atlanta sure got the slavery part down quickly. It looked to me as Beth was smiling as Noah got away.
I think Daryl & Carol found Noah, he told them what was going on and where to find Beth, and Carol let herself get caught while Daryl & Noah went back to the church to get the cavalry together for an all out assault on the hospital. It wasn't a great episode, but it wasn't a bad one either. It gave us a look at what is going on outside of Rick's group. Looking at the previews for next week, it looks like we will have 3 story lines going on.

The casting of Noah was announced a few months back (he is the kid from Everybody Hates Chris). Who Noah was, or when we would see him was completely unknown, though.
No. Noah is not in the comics.

Did you miss the end? They were bringing Carol in on a stretcher.
They killed off Bob, are they that conscious of keeping enough characters of each demographic then?
I thought she SHOULD'VE been pissed, but it did appear that she was happy he escaped?
They did? I'll have to watch that again.Did you miss the end? They were bringing Carol in on a stretcher.

Really? I gotta stop trying to watch football and this show at the same time. It's what stopped Beth from doing whatever she planned on doing with her prison-shiv.
