I know i'm not suppose to ask this and maybe it's been talked about before.

If they are done when they get bit why is it okay when they kill a walker and get blood on their faces and maybe even in their mouth?

I have not missed one episode to this point and it's kind of a dickish question but I've just always wondered...

In the early episodes they made a big deal of covering every part of their bodies...except for their faces, because that would make for lousy television. Anyway, maybe things have changed since they found out that they are all infected.

In any event, I would still rather not get any of that shit in my mouth.

I think that they didn't mention the plans to circle back and surprise the Terminus people at the church was purely so it could be a surprise when they did arrive. Quite frankly, I thought it was a stupid idea to take a big group and try to sneak attack them at the school. After Bob was dropped off they had to know that someone was watching (apparently they did and it was the Terminus folks who were the idiots).

I believe that the next episode will be a flashback episode with the storyline involving Daryl, Carol, and Beth. I think that the scenes of Beth in the hospital during the preview have already occured by the time that Daryl arrives back at the group at the end of this episode.

It was a bit uneven because of the possible plot holes that might be explained away (or not) but it was still pretty cool. I do wish that the zombies had busted out of the school to reek a little havoc but I suppose that could still happen since they have not left the church yet.

I believe the way they explained it is that the bite causes an infection (not infected with the "zombie" virus, mind you, because everyone is already infected with that, but a gangrenous type) that can't be cured and eventually kills you. So mere contact with the saliva/goo from a walker doesn't infect you, it has to do with the bite, komodo dragon-like as someone else suggested. As shown with Hershel earlier in the show, if you can amputate quickly enough it can stop the killing infection.

There's still some holes there in my mind, but I try not to think about it too much and just pass it off as one of those things that would make sense if I was a scientist.

The bite does not cause "Zomiism". Everyone is already a zombie, they just don't show the effects until they die. The zombie bite is just incredibly poisonous.

I don't think they have gone into any major explanation as to the exact transmission of the poison, but I would guess it has something to do with the "saliva".

Remember, there is no medical infrastructure anymore, so a plague cannot be studied. When AIDS started, they thought it could be transmitted through kissing. And that was after medical studies. These are just a bunch of schmoes on the run making WAGs.

But Eugene says there is infrastructure in DC!!! This whole premise that they are just going to flip a switch and the zombies are just going to drop dead for good is so asinine.

Kinda like Stephen King's "Cell". Not one of his better efforts, imo.

For arguments sake, lets assume this is correct.

Our group has not been in contact with the existing infrastructure, so they have no idea what causes what. Thus, we have no idea what causes what.

I kinda get the idea they will come up wit a cure for the living with the virus so there wont be more zombie continuously being made. Eventually killing off the zombie populous. (since no more would be made once they are cured)
Not the zombies just drop dead.

the other thing is they thought going to Atlanta was to thing to do, then they thought the CDC was still safe place, they will be disappointed when they(if they) get to DC. I personally after getting there would find some type of fortress to build a secure base at. restart a stable population there.

I was wondering if there is one of our crew that if they were killed off you would stop watching? I honestly think if Dayrl is killed i'd probably stop watching, I really like Carol and Michonne but i'd probably keep watching if they were killed and I've always liked Glenn but eh i'd keep watching, man I hope my Bethy is ok!

I like zombie movies & shows so if Daryl was killed I would be disappointed but I would still watch no matter what.

This is what I believe as well, and that Beth is with Daryl and Carol got taken in the mission.

I think its a good time for a flashback, as long as we know its happening. I mean being in a hospital with an IV in her, cant be like they are trying to hurt her, unless they are trying to repopulate the human race with her.

Its been a big week long question to who is in the woods, you figure if it was a prisoner they would be in front of Daryl witht he crossbow aimed at their head. Somehow I dont think we will be let down.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to question the relevance of those bible verses on the wall inside the church....
