If I recall correctly, they have this thing about not being weak like they were in the past. It's like they view themselves on the food chain where the strong devours the weak... literally.

The guy who fights Tyrese in the cabin is an example of this. He claims that Tyrese must kill or be killed and even threatens to kill a baby in order to get the upper hand. Tyrese screams "I won't, I won't" as he pummels the guy, refusing to believe that it's absolutely necessary for humans to kill each other.

Killing as a self defense method for survival is one thing........but cannibalism ??

While I like legit deaths as well, a few "uh, OK" deaths is not so horrible. It is more realistic, and adds to the drama of real deaths. Btw, which pointless deaths have we had? Otto? T-Dog? T-Dog died trying to save Carol, but he didn't really have a story attached.

T-Dog, Dale and Andrea come to mind. I know Andrea had some important scenes but her whole character was a bit of a like the writers had no idea what to do.

gareth said it when he was captured. Basically said either be cattle or the ones to eat the cattle. Now they lure people in as cattle, when at terminus. Now it is just their way.

The actor playing Dale wanted out. Nothing they could do there, but yes, I would agree on him.

They built up the Andrea death over a whole season. The execution of it was poor, granted, but it was built up. I would agree that they butchered her character, though. She is a badass in the books.

I like Yoga's premise that Bob was bitten. And yes, that means Gareth and friends are screwed...makes beautiful sense.

Good episode...makes up for the increasingly laughable rubber zombie masks.

Since everyone is already infected as they have stated (this is why people come back as walkers after they die even if they are not bitten), then why do we assume that eating someone who has been bitten would turn people immediately?

We have seen that getting bitten will cause you to "die" and turn but the Termites have already been eating people and since everyone is already infected......????

Yep, that's a very good point. Actually could make for a pretty good storyline.

I think you guys just stumbled onto a major flaw in this story line . One would think that anyone who ate a dead human ,even if recently killed, would be lethal. I might buy it if they had beheaded them and not just bled them.Eating someone who is still living would seem to be okay (if not infected) because they still bleed,kiss,have sex like normal without infection.

IMO Bob was a part of the original group and left when they started eating humans to survive.

I have to revise this. After watching both episodes again I think that Bob was part of the group that took over Terminis and ran after they took it back.

I think you guys just stumbled onto a major flaw in this story line . One would think that anyone who ate a dead human ,even if recently killed, would be lethal. I might buy it if they had beheaded them and not just bled them.Eating someone who is still living would seem to be okay (if not infected) because they still bleed,kiss,have sex like normal without infection.

Beheaded and bled out. I guess they are passing on a bunch of food when they kill the walkers then.

Gareth's gloating to Bob at the beginning of the episode had me a bit confused at the part where Gareth mentioned about his mom (Mary) being killed by the gray haired woman (Carol). I didn't like that statement because Gareth had no way of knowing about the wrestling match in the candle room between Mary & Carol.

If Gareth eventually found Mary's body in the candle room, it would have been completely torn apart/eaten by the group of walkers Carol let into the room.

Again, Gareth would not know that Carol and Mary happened upon one another in the candle room.

Maybe Gareth was just trying to say that it was Carol's fault that Mary died.
