Dude, it's been nice having Hammer gone this season. No need to fill in with the stupid shit. Not that the Patriots aren't a piece of shit organization.

So you agree with me

Good

Pats don't give a shit about character or off the field stuff. Didn't even let him get cold before signing him. They are about winning Football games and only winning Football games and I think this was a good signing for that. Other than Edelman I don't think any of their WRs are really that good. I'm not saying this is going to be a Randy Moss deal obviously, but I think he is better than guys like Amendola and Hogan and will help them and will make them a little bit better. Mitchell seems like he could be a good one, but even if Floyd steps up Mitchell will keep a role.:2cents:

Not so sure....33 catches in what? 14 games this season? In an Arians "all air" offense?

52 catches last season, 47 the year before

I think hes a classic underachiever, living off a "What could be" reputation

So you think Hogan is better? What were his stats? He doesn't have to be good, just better than what he is replacing. Floyd can get behind a defense.

If im a Pats fan, I wouldn't want this guy taking PT away from an emerging Malcolm Mitchell, id be more concerned about that than Hogan

Its not a terrible risk

Ahhh, Hogan is pretty good at getting behind a defense. It's his specialty. You saw it on display Monday Night.

$1.something million for 3 games.

6'3".

If they lose him next year it fits into the compensatory pick thing.

Hogan was the only other receiver over 6'. (And he's a keeper I believe)

Floyd apparently has no special teams experience at all so don't expect him to catch punts.

I think it's an astute pick up.

Still have zero idea why they would get rid of jamie collins.

He wants Von Miller money, Pats aren't going to give anyone not named Tom Brady that kind of money.

Because if there's one team's fans that know class it's...

Like OJ, I know he won't sleep until he finds the real killer...

Again...one of the Patriots and Ravens are always portrayed as a "classy" organization. Can you guess which organization it is? I'll help you out...it's the one with this guy as an owner:

Yet...they are thrown down peoples' throat as being such a "classy" organization. That's what is so freaking annoying.

If the Fins grabbed him there would be a public backlash for allowing drunks in the locker room. South Beach this and that. Pats pick up a guy while he's still blowing over and it's an astute move....cracks me up. I predicted this as soon as he was released....you'd think that they'd cool the jets once in a while.

Been quite busy but this was too humorous not to comment. Actually had to let go two staff because of alcohol so it hit a nerve. The guy needs help not a circus act in NE...

A lot of high horses in this thread, he was going to land on a roster somewhere. This is a good pickup for them too. Pretty low risk.

You are missing the point. There have been and always will be dbags on every team. That just needs to be pointed out to NE fans when it's appropriate. You would think that they get it by now given their history, but they don't.

Belichick announced last night that Floyd is making the trip to Denver. He's on the 53 man roster. It'll be interesting to see if he's one of the actives.

As far as his drinking is concerned......Belichick picked a defensive lineman after he'd gotten drunk and ran his car into a tree and took off. Once on the Patriots he got help and has been a model player and citizen.......ever heard of Alan Branch? Another druggie came to NE and has been pretty good and not had a single problem.......ever heard of LaGarrett Blount? And a real piece of shit was picked up by Belichick and became a Super Bowl winner and has been a model citizen.....ever heard of Corey Dillon?

Sometimes all they need is a little encouragement and guidance. 6'3" 221# 4.43 speed. Not a bad addition. If he wants a good contract in 2017, playing catch with Brady can get him a hell of a check. If he doesn't play well with others, he can always greet the Walmart People.
