Mitch Bratt has gone 5 shutout innings today. In 10 starts he has pitched 46 innings and only given up 5 earned runs. He did have one relief outing where he gave up 3 in one inning. In his starts this year he has a 0.98 ERA. The kid is ready for a promotion to Hickory.

Meanwhile the orioles have won 7 in a row, we lost each game to them by just one run. Granted, poor def was a big reason why we lost those games, but the orioles are hot right now and came up with some huge hits against us in the later innings.
