I think it's pretty simple. We're stupid as fuck. None of our players get to play to their strengths. It's always just covering up for weaknesses.

A team is made up of strengths added together. Covering up for weaknesses is a chicken shit style of any athletic endeavor.

I think Torts has lost this team on a number of levels. It is just a matter of time before they move Tortorella upstairs and bring in Tocchet behind the bench.

They are playing without any semblance of a top or second line center. No goalie. A mediocre defense at best and 5 or 6 minor league players. You could have Lord Stanley coach this team and get the same or worse results.

Rocky Thompson. The one guy in the organization that might be more inept than Lappy. I'll give him a little bit of a pass for the 0 for their last 29 or whatever run they're on now because they seriously lack talent, but as Las said, he's rarely used Tippett in the OV spot and it seems like a no brainer option. The PP has been DREADFUL since he's been running it. And they haven't always lacked talent like they do currently.

Watched a very small portion of last night's game and, as luck would have it, the part I caught was the 4 minute PP where they were outshot 2-0. Yeesh.
