The whole team is it hitting that great as well
Acuna had a pretty good May and Harris finished the month looking a lot better over the final 2 weeks.

They do need their hitters in the upper levels to get hot.

At least Huff looked great in May.

I think they will replace Miller with either Huff or someone they trade for at some point between now and late next month.

When Duran comes back they will have to send Leon packing.
Okay but for 2 to 5 games that seems unnecessary

Teams do it all the time though. I can't remember the last time we only had an emergency-type backup for 1B.

Miller may be a poor answer, but until they are ready to get someone else, he is the only answer we got.

Who knows, maybe they are working out Smith or will work out Duran at 1B until they are comfortable with one of them to backup Lowe. It only took a little while to gat Gallo ready to play 1B and he did it really well right off. So maybe they will have Smith or Duran ready within a couple of weeks.

All possible. I was just pointing out Garver can handle 1B for 1or 2 games

I think the AL west is an extremely interesting division. All teams are seriously still going for it and may just cash in sooner than later with their prospects minus the lowly As who are refusing to field a decent team.

They look worse than the Astros when they were tanking

"Garver’s return provides added flexibility to Texas’ lineup, where he can play designated hitter and spell Jonah Heim (who’s caught 44 of the Rangers’ 55 games) at catcher."

The next 8 series are going to be tough: Seattle(3), St Louis(3), Tampa(3), LAA(4), Toronto(3), CHW(3), NYY(3) and Detroit(4).

It would be great to go through them and end up 17-9 but it won’t be easy

Anybody getting a feeling both starting pitchers are going to be carrying a shutout into extra innings?
