I think 3 of us tied at 3-2 to win the Pick'ems with TF12 closest on the tie-breaker score. I'm not sure who's doing it this time, but, while picking Stanford to cover, I still had a score reflecting Oregon winning 34-24. I didn't think UW would run up that high of a score in their beatdown of Colorado and the AZ/UCLA being a 1 1/2 pt spread was a coin toss that I thought AZ would win. Congrats to Stanford, USC, ASU, UW, and UCLA for their wins.

As much as I'd like to beat Stanford, it's going to take a perfect, mistake free game on SC's part. I'm still not sold on Kessler, and his play during the ND game (which we should have won easily) shows that he struggles under game pressure. We've lost Morgan Breslin for the season, and Leonard Williams is hurt. We might be able to stop Stanford's run game, but our pass defense is crap and teams have been able to get huge chunks of yardage on us this year. We will have to pressure the Stanford QB the entire game if we are to have any chance.

Boy I think SC can put it together and get a win. MAy be wishful thinking on my part.

I hate having to resort to another team doing the Ducks dirty work. But I am forced to. Feels dirty.

Anyways, even if SC has to put together a perfect game, it can be done. As bad as Stanford wipped Oregon and played their perfect game, they won by 6.... Another 2 minutes and Oregon probably wins and steals a W. The Ducks were totally out played and still nearly pulled it off.

I think SC can play their A game and win by a td.

Since it's a home game, hopefully that will be an added benefit for us. We are due for a win against Stanford; we've come oh so close the past three years. Maybe the football Gods will smile upon Troy next Saturday.
