And if you can't complete a two yard pass to a TE or FB leaking out off of a bootleg you shouldn't be a division 1 quarterback, let alone playing for USC. Kiffin's calling card was his offensive playcalling yet he ran the ball 4 straight times against a defense whose identity was formed on stopping the run and tightening up in the red zone.

I agree. But that's why he ran the ball 4 straight times. It's also why Kessler is starting and Wittek isn't.

Besides, if USC had won, we wouldn't have OD's famous Lane Kiffin You Face thread. So it's all good!!

Really. Cheating? How many NCAA sanctions did he bring down on USC? Who has the show cause, Kiffin or Kelly?

As for whether or not Kiffin can coach. I'm sorry that you don't know the difference between a good coach and a good leader.

Pete Carroll was/is an average to slightly above average coach, but he is a very good to great leader.

Kiffin is a good coach, but a pretty bad leader. He'll likely take next season off and then end up as someone's OC in college or a qb coach in the NFL.

You really need to go back when you're not drank and re-read the post. It's pretty much what most of the experts are saying about him.

Experts? ok. take your word for that one:L

And ya, the dooshbag tried cheating against Oregon.

ya adversity. Thanks grammar cop. Get to typin before i can think sometimes.

And where is that crystal ball for that Oky beatdown?

Not in your trophy case. If you want to cling on to a NATTY that the record books dont recognize, more power to you.

All this shit you always talk about lack of Crystal Footballs when you all have zero as well...

LMAO! :laugh3:

Yeah, I do that too. I find myself having to use that 5 minute "edit window" quite a bit!!

As for the Crystal Trophy.....Reggie Bush and his family stole it!!

And I don't talk about a lack of Crystal Footballs, I talk about a lack of National Championships. You'd understand the difference if Oregon had any.

And you can say what you want about the AP. They have been recognized as a legit NC award long before the BCS and will continue after the BCS.

And you know as well as I do, if Oregon is unbeaten, gets left out of the NCG and gets awarded the AP National Championship, you guys will be all over these boards bragging about your 1st NC!!

You also know that I would be the first to congratulate you and be one of your most ardent supporters when Team SEC came along trying to claim that it didn't count.

thats awesome. I always root for PAC athletes in the Olympics.

Thanks, I think the U.S. water Polo team is basically the all PAC 12 team. The Pac has always done well in the Summer games, maybe Utah and Colorado can pick up the winter games now for complete domination.

Now this?

BCS Era: Oregon and USC

BCS Championships

Oregon Zero / USC Zero

Total record

Oregon 147-49 / USC 142-53 * Gave SC vacated wins

PAC record

Oregon 98-34 / USC 90-41 * Gave SC vacated wins

PAC Champions

Oregon 5 / USC 7

Oregon vs USC head to head

Oregon 8-5 advantage

Looks to me like Oregon is the best PAC team in the BCS era TF12!!

How many of the 460+ championships did UW contribute again? I mean Stanford, USC and UCLa account for 320+ (over 100 each) of those in a 12 team conference.

SUBudda: Like being called the conference of champions and thank you guys for holding us up. But IMO and in the plain language of the conference (not spoken at LJSU, I assume): "if it ain't football, it ain't shit". Except billiards and pool of course.

If USC was a nation they'd have the sixth most Olympic Medals as any country.

(Ok not really related but still a cool stat).
Found this on the subject drilled down the facts a bit.

USC & UCLA account for about 26% of the total USA Gold medals (Prior to the London games). Out of 929 Gold medals by the USA, USC has 123 and UCLA 119. USC, established in 1880 has participated in most of the modern day Olympic Games beginning in 1896. UCLA, established in 1919 has been in 23. Still USC, in 28 Olympic Games, has earned 262 medals. UCLA, 241 medals in 23 Olympic Games. Both schools have done extremely well, and will hopefully continue this outstanding legacy in London
I think they both earned another 6 gold medals in London each! :suds:

You're not going to report me like that football parent in Texas are you?

Something tells me that in a couple of seasons when USC is back where we belong and having some epic battles with the Ducks. The trash talk between you and I is going to be hilarious!!

We might have to create our own website for it!!

lol. ASU cant beat Oregon. They are so far from the level of the Ducks its funny. You remember what happened in 19 minutes of football right? Game over. 43 unanswered points..... in your own house.

Mariota out of game b4 halftime.

And if you were asking about the sanctions, they lose one skolly for a couple years. 2 players. They already got credit for one year of sanctions as they didnt recruit a full class in 2013.

So basically, they arent giving 2 walk on kids that will never see playing time a skolly in 2014 and 2015 classes.

Uncle Phil's relatives no doubt? Did they arrive in a Mercedes?:noidea:
