Crazy, crazy day in cfb today. Lots of top ranked teams went down in flames. Sure didn't see that UW/ASU game going that way. In the pick'ems, I went with a hunch and switched my pick to AZ over Utah and glad that worked out. I kinda thought AZ still had something @home to show us. I went 5-2 and was very surprised to see WSU hanging tough and scoring 24 on OR before OR ran up the score on them. I think OR St still has a good chance to win a few more of their upcoming games. GO BEAVS !!!!!

What was that about our running game being mediocre and our run defense being terrible? We held the nation's leading rusher to 22 yards. Our defense is finally healthy and we got our swagger back. Once Marcus Ball is healthy enough to make his debut it'll be where we thought it would be in the preseason.

I think Jahii might be onto something, we only play well when we don't wear black.

We need to send your coach a memo to definitely wear the black outfits when the Beavers travel to ASU this season. ASU looked about as good as I've seen them play in awhile now. OR St will have to bring their "A" game or risk losing badly.

The way OR St has been playing and the ASU I saw tonight, the game could be epic. I'm making plans with the wife (ASU alum) to get her 2 sons (ASU students), her brother, his wife, and their daughter (ASU alum) to all go with us to the game. I'll be outnumbered but will proudly wear my OR St shirt and ballcap. We'll probably try for seating as close to mid-field as possible though instead of being in an endzone visiting team or student section. I'd be interested in meeting up with any of you ASU fans I've posted with but probably won't get the family out to the tailgating area.
