Ok, we are under 20 mins until kickoff of the AZ game so the picks are locked in.
I have picks from:
Wallace, Oly, NN, TF12, 963, native, WH, Mamba, dayman, jack ass (donkey), 4d20, regent, and vita

Only 3 took AZ, 3 took oregon to cover, 3 picked UW to win outright. Lowest point totals picked was 55 and largest was 97 (shit native, you don't think either team has a defense? lol)

You didn't get our strategy? Since we have to get one game a week wrong make it an obvious one so we don't risk picking our game wrong.

Hey tf12 congrats on the win last night. :suds:

I was surprised to see it a one score game this morning as I hit the hay early when the game felt secure at 38-17 midway through the fourth or so.

Looks like you guys held on by putting a good final drive and ran out the clock.

Good Luck in South Bend next week! :yahoo:

Thanks. I think the D was getting a little tired at the end and that resulted in some mental errors, particularly in the secondary, where we are inexperienced. I have a feeling that our games the rest of the way will be similar to last night. Build a lead and hope to hang on at the end.

The running game saved us last night for sure. I think Helton used every running back on the roster last night, but he stuck with Silas Redd for the final drive that sealed the game.

It was nice to see the players having fun and the crowd excited and cheering.

While USC looked good last night for most of the game I stil think 7 wins is about how this season goes. Maybe that could be their selling point to try and get Seven Sarkisian to be their new coach.

BTW - tf12 ~ What do you think of the Chris Peterson rumor for HC?

This one might have some teeth due to Bosie falling off a bit in recent years and such a premier AQ job available.

Here's an article I found on the subject.

The six real candidates for USC Trojans head coaching job - Monterey College Football | Examiner.com

Every coach from Petersen to Gruden will be rumored for the job. All have their strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I wouldn't have much problem with any of the 6 in the article that you linked. Depending on how the team does over the rest of the season, I wouldn't have an issue if Haden just gave the job to Orgeron.I like everything I've heard about what he's doing and the energy that the team showed last night.

I'll be surprised if Petersen was the hire. I think he's turned down every coaching job in college football at least once. He's already turned us down once and UCLA twice. Plus, he has a special needs son and has everything set up well for him at Boise.

Personally, I like the idea of Del Rio. He's a former Trojan (so he knows what he's getting himself into. LOL) and is very well respected and from what I hear, he will keep Orgeron and bring back Kennedy Pola. He's not the "big name" coach that folks are saying we need. I really don't think we need a big name coach. We need a football coach who can lead. USC itself is the big name and as folks like to point out, recruits itself. You or I could be the coach and still get into any recruits living room just because it's USC.

Sark would be a good hire too. Despite the Ducks nickname for him, considering where Washington was when he took over and where they are now, he has shown that he can coach. He was on Dan Patrick the other day and didn't exactly rule himself out as a candidate.

 Now you did it. Our thread will be overrun by SEC fans defending their conference scheduling practices in 3.......................2.............................1.......

There is nothing to defend, only people who don't understand the money side of things and that neutral site games are win-win for both teams because they both get paid well every year. Where as home and home games only give each team a payday 1 out of 2 years.

There is a reason teams take them when they can get them. ASU isn't stupid.

What's the issue?

We had a home and home with LSU scheduled for 2015-16 but it got pushed back due to their series with Wisconsin and our stadium renovation plans. Despite the result of the game, the ND game was a success and we're trying to open up a recruiting pipeline in Texas.

Told ya!!

Seriously though, just having a little fun!! I used to love when USC did the neutral site games. It's part of the reason that we are able to recruit well in pretty much any region of the country. I'm hoping we start doing that again when the sanctions are over.

An interesting storyline, Kyle Allen the #1 recruit in the state of AZ and #9 QB in the country chose A&M over us over the summer and will most likely be their starter by then. I hope we beat the shit out of that little prick.
