You guys are excited to have CGD and have been bragging about it and justifiably so.

It is an accomplishment and it shows that your program is relevant.

So far I have the pick'em entries from Wallace, Oly, NN, TF12, 963, dayman, ye old donkey, 4d20, and vitamike. I do not have picks yet from IB, native, az sting, regent, mamba, nor mine.

Given how many fucking pages this board has a day I wouldn't be surprised if I missed one. You might want to PM me with your picks as well as posting them here to make sure.

Stats so far: Only two have picked Oregon to cover and two have Utah and arizona. Is it just me or is USC such a train wreck this year that it's hard to pick them to cover anything?

Here we go random CGD as it relates to the Pac
UCLA at Nebraska 1994 was the first time a Pac school was on CGD
After this Sat, Washington state and cal will be the only 2 schools in the conference to not host CGD but they have been on it at least once. this includes both Colorado and Utah who hosted while in their old conferences.
Pac 12 is the only major (ACC,SEC, Big12, BIG TEN and Pac12) to have every school in the feature game.

And yet UW hasn't been far off the mark for recruiting despite not having that national spotlight on us. Now that they are getting the national exposure how many more 4 and 5 star kids might just tip their way and how much more relevant will it make them in the coming years. That's why it is a big deal. Building a winning program is a cascading process of winning, getting attention, getting better recruits, which leads to more winning. Oregon is several years ahead on that cycle no doubt, but UW is no longer miles behind.

The age old adage that it is harder to stay on top than to reach the top is so true in college football. That object getting closer to you in your rear view mirror is larger than it appears.

yes but it is nowhere near as good as the football edition. even when all they did was stroke SEC, Clowney and Johnny at the start of this season.
