My Beavs have a bye so I have a "honey-do" list I need to take care of on Saturday. I watched some highlights of the game against Colorado and it sure looks to me like Mannion was just throwing up hail mary passes and expecting the recievers to get them. It worked against the inept defense of Colorado but if he throws those same passes against ASU, USC, UW, Stanford and Oregon, he'll set a new record for INTs. Mannion's been lucky so far this season to not have as many INTs as last season, but we're going to start playing the better teams from here out and defenses will be tougher to throw against. I'd rather have the more accurate Vaz in there. If the reciever isn't open, he'll take a sack but I prefer ball control to reckless hail mary passes.

Our defense ain't that good this year.

Did you see Mannion is 8th in the Heisman Pundits straw Poll?

State of Oregon reppin QBs.

Sankey was in the top 10 also. Not sure where but he was in there.

add Hundley and 4 of top 10 were PAC players.
I'll admit he seems to have improved a little but OR St has only played the bottom teams so far and Mannion's been very fortunate that those teams' DBs and Safeties have been inept at paying attention when they've got the reciever covered. Mannion still throws it up there and many times should've been intercepted if the defender had looked around and paid attention. In the tougher upcoming games, I don't see his QB rating going anywhere but down and dropping from any Heisman ranking. I hope he proves me wrong and keeps the winning streak going. I'd love to see a 1 loss OR St playing Oregon in the Civil War game for the N div championship.

Our defense ain't that good this year.
I took my wife (ASU alum) to the OR ST@ASU game 2 yrs ago and watched Mannion hitting ASU defenders between the numbers all night. They kept dropping them in the 1st half, but intercepted Mannion 5 or 6 times just in the 2nd half with ASU winning easily. I'm taking the wife again this yr and am worried Mannion will throw it away again the same way. :L

Whats up PAC12ers. I will be in baseball mode for the next few days. Very nervous about this Oakland Detriot series. I will be drinking soon, since its past five on the east coast, I may as well start now. LETS GO OAKLAND!!!

By the way, good win for UCLA last night, but Utah showed some flashes. And by the looks of it had a nice crowd. All in all, I think UCLA still wins the south, but it will be a fight with ASU.

Lastly, here are some more gameday sign ideas:

PayROLL TIDE

Haha Clinton Dix Saban

Oregon's Defense Shutdown the Government

I'm thinking of making a sign to take to the OR St@ASU game: Mannion for ASU MVP and if he hits the ASU defenders between the numbers all 1st half again, I'll wave it a lot. :gaah:

Mariota hasn't played anyone!!!!!!!! Pass the bowl oh my b!!!!!!!!! Cashed!

But the numbers he has put up were in one half.

Sort of like the 43 points the Ducks put up on your boys in 11 minutes of football last season,

well I liked baseball a lot more before the M's basically decided they didn't care about winning, only income. Until Lincoln and Armstrong are gone from the front offices that team will never break .500 again. I refuse to support them until both are gone.

If you got that nice of a park to watch baseball in it takes the sting out of losing. Love that place man. B-ute-iful

Went there many times a year in the early 2k's. Haven't been back in the last 3 years and won't go again until both of those asshats are gone. Not just what they did to that team, but also their attempt to block the return of the Sonics and the new arena plan. Those fuck nuts need to GTFO.

Anyway, you go enjoy your baseball. That sport is pretty much dead to me.

Oh, believe me. Baseball playoffs wont get more than 5 minutes this Saturday brother.

And you know what, I heard today that Texas ISU had a higher rating than the WC baseball playoff game.

That tells you where baseball is in this country right now.

I will say this. UCLA better not expect 6 picks when they come to Autzen.

Mariota hasnt thrown a single one all year.
So if they expect any, it should be somewhere between 1-5, right?:laugh3:

Wilson was averaging 1 int per game coming in and he threw 6 to the Bruins and almost another at the goal line that ended up as a TD. That dude (I think it was Myles Jack) makes that play and he has 100 yards of green in front of him.

Between that missed pick 6 that went for 6 & the pick 6 we threw, we were two plays from this one not even being close. It easily could of been 41-13 Bruins. (And that score is more similar to our averages coming in of 53-18 than to the actual final 34-27) We let them hang around and we almost gave it away. Years past they lose that game for sure.

Part of the maturity process of any team is coming out the victor with these type of challenges. Winning these type of games are almost a right of passage for the very good teams. Maybe we are on that road, we'll see.

Now just wondering, do you think they will even get one int @ Autzen?

More?

We do have a gambling defense, that may give up a big play or four but they are young and they will learn, some by hard knocks no doubt however they should grow in this aggressive style.

Then look out!

The good thing for us, we have two more games to learn from before we get it on with your Ducks so we have some time to learn still. We just hope you can somehow make it back to the CCG game this year, we kept our end of the bargain last year.:yahoo:

Highly doubt it.

Just sayin, yall needed 6 ints to beat Utah on the road. You most likely get zero at Autzen. I think UCLA is in for a very long day @ Autzen from what I saw last night.

:agree:

Heck, from what I saw in Lincoln too, it will a long day. They need a near perfect game to win and it may just include more than 1 int and most likely double digits points from turnovers too.

What I worry about (if Oregon wins the North) is having to play yall twice potentially. Like UCLA vs Stanford last season. That was scary for Stanford.

So difficult for a teams to beat another 2 times in a season.

The first game UCLA wasn't really trying. They had absolutely nothing to gain by showing what they could bring. Stanford had everything to lose.
