That's my concern as well...I mean, it's a good conference overall, but pretty overrated. Not even trolling or anything. Oregon is top notch, and I guarantee they run the table and they have a good chance at beating Bama in the Natl title game.

Good conference though.

Wouldnt be anything new for Oakland losing to Detroit.

You do know there is a B1G thread right?

So again, you are free to leave. Didnt I make myself clear the 1st time?

We have a no bullshit policy from non conference folks here enforced by me.

And so far, you are not welcome here. SO if you dont want an infraction, you will cease posting here.

PM me if you have questions or a comment.

That was a great game from a casual fan perspective, but in terms of positives I think Utah takes more out of that game for everything but the final score. One or two less tipped balls and Utah wins. Any team taking a game against the Utes for granted will be in for a big surprise. I really liked the tenacity of their defense in that game. They got to Hundley quite a bit.

Heck of a way to start off the weekend for the Pac. Ended up picking up a game on Mamba in the standings too.

EJ Manuel went out injured for the bills and guess who got some game action at QB?

Tuel 8/20 for 80y no TD and 1 pick. Yeah, Leach was a real idiot for leaving this kid off the starting list wasn't he? :L

Yep, an undrafted rookie free agent comes in in the 3rd quarter and had some struggles. It was still a good showing from him not like he shit the bed.

I guess Leach was right to hate on him since he is known for having any successful quarterbacks from his stupid system in the NFL. Leach hates on Tuel yet Tuel has more NFL game time than Leach's golden child in Graham Harrell. Leach's system was successful in the Big 12 which produced 2 1/2 successful players in his 10 years, his system won't work in the Pac which is loaded with gimmicky offenses that actually use what is called a running game. Breske has done a great job and his team has shown improvement, Leach has proved why he needs to go wrestle a Kodiak because the guy is in way over his head for his pay grade.

Thanks brother!

It was a hard fight and those Utes are a resilient team. You gott love what Kyle Wittingham's getting done over there and Travis Wilson looked pretty good. I think just about every interception save the last (Which was a do or die 4the down situation anyway) was a tipped ball. Wilson will be a force to be dealt with for the rest of the Utah PAC foes remaining on their schedule. Utah's defense surprised me a bit, especially their run defense. Losing James early last night for the remainder of the game hurt and I'm not sure when he will be back (Just haven't seen the report yet.) Also losing our offensive tackle Torian White is gonna hurt big time! I've heard that he will be out indefinitely with a broken ankle.

But to tell you how I really feel, I guess I'd have to go back to my pregame comments....

Why am I so keyed for this Bruins game tonight?

It's freaking me out a bit and about the same as going to Lincoln!

Probably the weather thing, IDK?

Could be, even if we win bad weather or not they don't move any closer to cracking the top 10 at 4-0, 1-0 without a good showing.

Damn I should be a lot more keyed for my Dodgers tonight, right? :noidea:
Man I had three teams with big games last night. My Bruins hadn't won in 6 years at Utah! My Dodgers haven't won a post season game since 2009 and opening night for my Kings at Wild made a perfect Trifecta when all was said and done!

However of the three none had me as uneasy as this one in Utah last night. I felt the Utes were better than advertised, this road game was playing out like a trap game and the weather forecast wasn't helping none. When they recovered that onside kick, it was nervous time for sure and my fears I posted earlier yesterday proved not to be unfounded. I felt like we escaped with a win, hell we had 5 interceptions with the game in jeopardy and 16s. left to play and needed another to put it away!

Now it is time to take the long week and prepare for big brother at home.

They always give us fits....

Yep. UCLA got the W tonight but this one is a big hit to the roster.

--The UCLA offensive line took a major hit Thursday, as starting left tackle Torian White went down with an injury during the Bruins' 34-27 win over Utah.

Jack Wang of the Los Angeles News Group tweeted Friday that White will be out indefinitely with a broken ankle which he suffered in Thursday night's victory over the Utes.

Oh wazzy, you know I have to yank your chain. Kind of my unofficial official job up here isn't it?

Stanford may have knocked you back into the dark ages last week, but that's going to happen to a lot of teams this year. Leach has your team going in the right direction. I have them winning this week on the road at Cal. I see both schools in similar situations with Leach having a one year head start on the rebuilding. I really wouldn't be surprised to see WSU going bowling and in fact might be surprised if they coug it and fail to make one.

Keep up the good fight my miserable brother!

I had your back in the game thread man. I called for the pick 6 to end the game on that 4th down and sure enough it happened.

You're welcome.

Thanks Wiz! :suds:

I was pulling triple duty trying to watch the Bruins, Dodgers and Kings last night so I couldn't do the thread thing as my DVR was working overtime and I was flipping back and forth and back again.

I also had Utah picked and am 0-1 in the pick'ems. For an unranked team everyone was saying is crappy, Utah sure is dangerous. They came back and almost beat OR St, now they hung in against #12 UCLA 'til the end and should've won it but for UCLA's defensive front keeping their heads up and paying attention to tip passes. Congrats UCLA for the narrow escape.

I will say this. UCLA better not expect 6 picks when they come to Autzen.

Mariota hasnt thrown a single one all year.

My Beavs have a bye so I have a "honey-do" list I need to take care of on Saturday. I watched some highlights of the game against Colorado and it sure looks to me like Mannion was just throwing up hail mary passes and expecting the recievers to get them. It worked against the inept defense of Colorado but if he throws those same passes against ASU, USC, UW, Stanford and Oregon, he'll set a new record for INTs. Mannion's been lucky so far this season to not have as many INTs as last season, but we're going to start playing the better teams from here out and defenses will be tougher to throw against. I'd rather have the more accurate Vaz in there. If the reciever isn't open, he'll take a sack but I prefer ball control to reckless hail mary passes.

Did you see Mannion is 8th in the Heisman Pundits straw Poll?

State of Oregon reppin QBs.

Sankey was in the top 10 also. Not sure where but he was in there.

add Hundley and 4 of top 10 were PAC players.
