And even if you missed week 1 feel free to jump into next week's pick'em. You might be behind on the yearly battle, but you can still take home the win on the week and be crowned pick'em champ for that week.

Always an adventure going ATS, especially during the 'funny season'. Some of these circus lines of 30+ can be hard to nail, but hang in there until the full conference season.

Did bad in week 1? Don't sweat it. All of the people in the top 5 last season had bad weeks. It happens. Don't give up hope. No one is more than 5 points back and that doesn't take much to make back up.

Week 2 does have a couple of great games slated. USC@Stanford and MSU@Oregon. Yeah, the rest are more of those circus lines and few will be interesting, but navigate that week and set yourself up well going into the 3rd week of OOC.

In my head? LOL I was laughing at your team on my first post. The score was funny as hell to see this morning. The other I was agreeing with another poster how much of a nut you are. The others I was talking to fellow trojan fans about coaching and recruiting and the future of teams in the Pac. So don't flatter yourself dude. Being an idiot or a clown is not a good way to get attention if thats how you roll.

None of the top players from last year did great this week, but that's how the funny season goes.

Cal threw a monkey wrench in things. A lot of people took Oregon to cover (52.5?). Oregon State got just about everyone and so did UW. Few had them not covering. But ASU really killed people. Only two had them not covering.

I'm sure we will get more of the same next week. These 30+ lines are always a bitch.

Well indirectly I suppose. It's not a question of does Oregon have the talent. They could score 70+ on any lower team. Just seems to me asking for 53 point wins in game 1 is a lot. I took SD on that one because of it. If the first two games were reversed and next week was SD I might view it differently. You just figure in game 1 against a terrible team you might see a LOT more 2nd and 3rd string kids to get evaluations in as scoring 70+ might not be as big of a priority as seeing what your most unknown players can do against live play in a packed stadium.

Now the UW game was on at the same time so I didn't see much of the Oregon game. Did see a few of their bigger plays, but I have no idea how much their 1's were in the game so if you didn't cover AND had all 1's I was wrong, but I'm betting a lot of evaluating happened that game.

Didn't go to the game. Just watched at home. I was impressed with the freshmen. Sark says that he knew they were going to have to contribute this year, so he's been putting pressure on them and preparing them for it since day 1.

I'm sure we'll see some ups and downs with them, especially against the better teams, but I liked how they looked yesterday.

Helps a lot with next year when the expectations will probably be much higher...

Wallace has a leg up on us so far this year. Managed a respectable 7 points he did. Would have been 8 had he not bet his own game with his heart instead of his head. But then the same could be said for both of us too.

TBT I was really torn with all the traps on the UCLA game with such a long travel vs a damn good defense and all the hype we got preseason. (Not used to that shit)
