Cal's W was impressive. They actually played some D today and beat a quality Bigboy on the road. Nice W for them. Most of tPAC performed well this week.

WSU and Colorado Coug'd it, but that was to be expected.

TF12 I am nervous for next week with the way Stanford's O-line played today, but do you want to do the Avi bet again this year?

I'm not sure I can remember a time when my team has won it's first game and had more to be down about than your clan today. That was just a terrible game.

The good news is you are still 1-0 and there's time to fix things, but man is there a lot to fix bro!

You miss Sark yet?lol. I'm just getting up and didn't get scores (went to a concert after leaving the USC game in the 3rd qrtr) till now. Wtf happened in Hawaii?

Nervous myself. We're playing a lot of freshmen. They played like vets against Fresno, but Stanford can make 5th year seniors look like true freshmen.

But yeah, I'm in.

1 week, correct?

New coach, new scheme, new qb, Hawai'i players trying to save their program and weird crap happens on the island.

Good reasons but the way some of the Husky fans on this board talked I expected the team to be ready and play well especially since they "upgraded" the head coach. lol
Did you go to the game yesterday? I was impressed with JuJu and Adoree. Not used to seeing true freshmen thrown in there like that.

Yep 1 week, I have 2 handles (for me) vs 2 cases of Sierra (for my buddy) on this game as well. Straight up or spread?

Didn't go to the game. Just watched at home. I was impressed with the freshmen. Sark says that he knew they were going to have to contribute this year, so he's been putting pressure on them and preparing them for it since day 1.

I'm sure we'll see some ups and downs with them, especially against the better teams, but I liked how they looked yesterday.

I prefer straight up, but I'm good with the spread if you prefer that.

Not sure if it's true but i heard Juju Smith had more yards receiving in his first game (123) than Marquise Lee , Robert Woods and Nelson Agholor had in their first games ......combined. That's crazy.

I'd have to look it up to be sure, but that sounds about right.

The Bruins didn't look good, but they got a tough road win. I think it was a combination of them struggling & Virginia's defense being much better than last season.

Oregon didn't impress me at all.

Hopefully they were "holding back" vs fcs school.

But if not the Ducks are in trouble this year.

USC did what they were supposed to do and beat a 21 point underdog like you're supposed to beat a 21 point underdog.

I will say though, Sark wasn't kidding about the pace. They ran 103 plays for over 700 yards of total offense.

Next week we find out if we're any good.

And? Several teams in the Pac beat up derps. If that got a game ball then Stanford?

Cal gets it because they beat an actual team from a big 5 conference that beat them badly last year and were expected to lose.

I mean I'm happy for you, but you really want credit for being up on Fresno?

Chillax, broziff, It's really gonna be okay. I promise, my team is better than yours but I'm not bragging. We are all happy right now. Let's see how we play against Stanford.

lol coming from a 9'er fan. No, really.

I love how fast the bravado comes out though. You beat fresno fucking state and are now ready to play for the national championship already. :L

That's it, everyone else just cancel your games. USC beat a mid-major and is now king of the hill.

Wow, what people actually post and what you apparently read sure seem to be different.

Please show where anyone was talking about being "ready to play for the national championship already". Pretty sure everyone has just expressed being happy with the win and that we'll know a lot more about this team next week when we play Stanford.

I get that you're not happy that the Huskies first game wasn't the resounding success that you were hoping for and that ours wasn't the epic failure that you were hoping for, but let's not just make shit up.

Who do you think you are? Josh Shaw?

I think they'll be fine and that they "held back". Doubt Helfrich was interested in showing everything in the Ducks arsenal on some FCS team that he could blowout just playing his backups.

Ducks will be fine.
