I personally like the recruiting updates - don't have time to look it up myself - well except for the Ducks. Thank you and keep em coming

All he meant was tired of reading other teams scoring kids while the crickets are chirping for his teams recruiting.

I believe it was an offensive lineman from an 8 man league.

Just like when "I'm going to be here longer then Don James" Sark bailed in early Dec last year and took all his recruits with him, expect the new Beavs coach to build out a decent class by LOI. Petersen rolled up his sleeves and landed some quality commits. New Beavs job will actually be easier since Riley isn't gutting the Beavs class like Sark did here. There will be lots of commits coming in Jan. for the class. He was known as an excellent recruiter at Wisky.

It's ok wally. I'm sure your squad will fill in the holes with whatever 2* athletes are left after the big boys get done picking all the meat off the bones of the high school and juco vines in the conference. We will see if your new guy can get the most out of them the way Riley was often able to do.

which commits did sark take?

Jalen Greene
Don Hill
Jonathan Lockett
Rahshead Johnson
John Plattenburg
Claudeson Pelon

Might of been others, but those are the names I remember doing a quick glance at last years USC final class.

As I remember, when Petersen arrived there was only 4-5 commits left. By later Nov., many Huskies who follow recruiting were a bit suspicious of the fact we only had about 11 or 12 commits when Sark was usually way far ahead in commit numbers by then. The guy likes to spew crap about how he had no contact from USC. Was a total dog and pony show. He and them were obviously working out the details long before the end of the 2014 season. He's all yours USC.

But it is what it is.

It's probably for the best how it worked out. Petersen runs a different offense than Sark does and was able to aggressively go after the type of players he would prefer for the schemes he's implementing. Sark's dream job isn't UW. It's USC. I'm not really mad at Sark for gutting our recruiting class. I'm mad at all the alcoholic B.S. lies the guy spewed and how undisciplined his teams were on the field.

All things considered, USC got the guy suited for their program and we got a perfect fit for ours. In the longrun, I think we got the better part of the deal.

This is correct, I meant nothing about all the UWUB signings.

BTW...

Talked with an ol' timer a few weeks back. Informed me that it was Don James who knew it was athletic speed that could kill size when referring to recruiting. James truly IS the Gawdfather of offensively athletic spread teams we now see in the Pac and beyond. This time I will bow down to the purple-n-gold in his honor.

It is a new time for me Beavs, we needed change to keep up with the Joneses of the conference. Time moves fast these days. Your either on board OR being viewed in the rear view mirror. I'm glad our school chose the prior.

Da Cougs is on fire right now.

3-star WR Kyle Sweet (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) has committed to WSU. At 23 commits to date, the Cougs are about finished with the class. One of the better looking classes in ages for them.

Zona also appears to have done very well with JUCO signing day this past week.

3-star DT Anthony Fotu (Oakland, CA)
2-star S Paul Magloire (Yuma, AZ)
2-star TE Matt Morin (Riverside CC, CA)

All three qualify for 2 seasons of play.

Congrats to the Utes. Absolutely dominated CSU. Very impressive performance by their D front 7. Big time win for that program. Finally had a season worthy of being in the PAC.

Utah AD better get the wallet open and sign up the whole crew with increases. If Harbaugh doesn't except the Mich offer, Whittingham and their fabulous DC could be buh bye.

Yes. Congrats. I hope Kyle Whittingham will stay with the Ute program and continue its growth in the Pac-12, but I certainly wouldn't blame him for looking to greener pastures if opportunities arise for him. I wonder if he just wants to stay in Utah since he played college ball at BYU. But where ever he goes will have a quality coach on their hands.

Update on one of the Ducks commits:

I watched the California Division 2 State Championship Game yesterday between Redlands East Valley and Clayton Valley Charter.

Redlands East Valley receiver and Oregon commit, Malik Lovette had 7 rush attempts for 30 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also caught 9 passes for 154 yards and 1 touchdown leading his team to a 34-33 win and the schools first state championship. Looks like the Ducks got a good one.

When "who in their right mind would coach at Washington when you can coach at USC" left he took a few recruits he didnt take all of them. USC consistantly gets top ten classes .No way juju, mama and adoree go to Washington even if Sark is there. The butt hurt feelings are huge in this one.lol
