The offseason Rangers puzzle

I'm guessing there is going to be a package trade for a dman, or perhaps a forward with some true potentioal. There are just way too many forwards on this team now. Either they're going to dump Avery, or they're gonna package together a few of these forwards for something... hopefully good.

Somehow with Toronto's league worst PK last year I doubt Burke wants to pick up a moron who regularly sets up shop in the box and disappears for long stretches of the season.

However if the Rags were to offer up Callahan or maybe Dubinsky I could see something getting done.

Highly doubt either of those players are going anywhere. And if Sather makes any dumb moves I will seriously follow a West Coast team, because I dont want to rot behind bars for ripping his head off at center ice.

I would be pretty surprised if either of those guys were moved but you have to remember Burke is of superior intelligence compared to Sather...So anythings possible

I thought the Rangers were set on the blueline? I mean a Redden & Rozival first pairing is perfect in my book. What do they need another forward for? Gaborik can win all the games by himself right.

Did Rozival play last season? I really didn't notice him.

This is the Rangers plan: convince the league that relegation to the AHL should NOT be implemented, then wait for all (Redden, Drury, Roszival) of their bad contracts to expire. That is the long-term plan.


The plan for this year is to hope that Gaborik scores 150 goals and that Lundqvist has a .975 save percentage.
