Just got back from our annual Monte Carlo night at the Elks Lodge...it's a fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy.

Evening, MS. I'm not likely to stay long myself. I'm tired, and still have dogs to walk. Sink's full of dishes, too, but those I'll most likely leave 'til morning.

Yup, and so can playing blackjack when the wrong person is dealing. Got so disgusted, I left the table before losing all of the money I planned to lose (bear in mind, it's for a worthy cause, so I'll start playing recklessly if I get more than a little ahead. All I ask is to be entertained for a while as I make my "donation").

Blast her, she kept dealing me 12 or 13, when she had a face card up. So I had to hit, and she gave me a fucking face card like six times in eight hands. Losing that way, that often, takes all the fun out of playing. That ain't entertainment; it's more like torture...so I quit.

Come on down to Biloxi man. The casinos at least tease you then slam you. LOL I lived in Vegas and gambled, not here. But hey I am the same way if I am gonna donate a few hundred at least make it worth my while. They will get it anyway.

No casinos here, either, though they are building one in each of our major cities. I'll soon be an hour away from two. No big deal, though...I don't gamble very often.
