what was the Steelers strategy with those repetitive neutral zone infractions on that last extra-point kick? just being stupid for the helluvit?

This trying to time properly to get the block, nothing new. And after the second one they got the warning and stopped. Granted it seems silly but at that point nothing else to lose.Selling out in hopes of a block.

I thought there was some deeper thinking strategy, like repetitive "half the distance to the goal line" penalties, then Cowboys decide to go for 2, and better odds, fail, fancy follow-on game-play, or something like that. This trying to time properly to get the block, nothing new. I thought they'd ignore the warning and try again. Blocking that point meant 35 yards to a game winning attempt FG.I thought there was some deeper thinking strategy, like repetitive "half the distance to the goal line" penalties, then Cowboys decide to go for 2, and better odds, fail, fancy follow-on game-play, or something like that.
okay, nothing deep and tantric, just "nothing to lose" desperation. got it.
