yea its a leaking from the tank ..not a connection... it was still under warranty... so whirlpool gave me a replacement .. I just got to yank out the old one and sweat in the new

at least it won't cost you much just the aggravation

hell the old tank I have is just that old close to 20 years and no leaks yet,it just eats heating eliments,that's a lot easier than pulling the whole tank,just luck I guess

yea gotta get the old one drained and water shut down .. the tank has its own shut off valve for the gas so ill be able to let the furnace on ..its not too bad

well they didnt hassle me and stood behind their product .. so its not that bad i guess
