Steelers OL options:
don't pick anyone up
-- unacceptable
sign someone off the street
--- cap issues
trade
--- this seems the most likely, but what would you give up?
since there's cap issues it would probably have to be player v player as I understand it.
If someone would eat McFadden contract for even a reserve level OL (on their team) might be worth it-- the guy would need to be a swinger though who is legit capable at G and T. There's not a lot else the team can give up and not be worse off even with the OL coming in. Maybe with the Eagles 'dream team' season looking crappy we could get them to deal, except their OL sucks too, and they don't need a mediocre CB. Options then are basically the bottomfeeders looking at great draft position and looking to dump overpaid veterans
