They are better offensively but way worse defensively. Their defense gets the same treatment by their fans as our D does on this board.

Kings have to go with 11 forwards as they don't have the cap space to recall anyone. Kopital in out for tonight as is Gaborik. They are dressing 19 rather than 20.

Kings will be okay - it'll help the Flyers but the Kings will be okay - and they're used to road trips like this, they do it more than anyone else so it won't be an issue

Flyers still have to come out and play really hard and not take anything for granted - Kings are still one heck of a team without Kopi

NHLN is showing top 10 toughest places to play. WFA was #9 and my favorite the old Spectrum was #6. That place was nuts during the 80s. Shit, I've been to a few arenas in my day and I'd say that the Spectrum should have been ranked better than a 6.

For all the B. Schenn haters/trade him for a 3rd pairing dman, he is on pace for 27 goals and 46 points. Last year he was 20 and 41. He is only 23 and will only get better. I thought it was interesting that he went low on Quick for the game winner. It was obvious that the scouting was to go high on Quick. Anyway it went in. He is also a +/- 0 on a team that isn't so + friendly. Patience shall prevail.

His breakaway looked like he didn't have full control? Luckily Quick slid back into the net with the puck. That had to feel pretty good scoring a game winner against his former team and arguably the best goaltender in the game today.

Two days till Halloween.. Just got my Jack Skellington costume in yesterday. This costume looks amazing. Now I may use this for a Xmas surprise to my kid and his friends instead of Halloween? My wife has Sally which is also kick ass. I can throw my Santa coat and hat over Jacks head and leave the jacket open? I can get pretty creative hear.. Anyone hear do anything for Halloween?

yep, I think that's what they'll do while Coburn and Mac are out.

Wouldn't be surprised if Manning plays one of the games in Florida to give someone a rest though. Perhaps against the Panthers? The Bolts game is gunna be tough, their offense is dynamic.

Anyone know how many games Ghost has to play until we burn a year of his ELC? I think that is number Hexy will try his hardest not to go over.

As for the Ghost situation-I keep reading every damn day that Hextall is still trying to make a deal for a d-man,and that Ghost will be sent down.

Doesn't seem to matter how well he plays(or how his speed splits d-men).

Would rather have him play and develop,than some seasoned(some extremely seasoned) vet,that will only be a quick fix anyway.

His contact has kicked in. He was already in the AHL so his ELC has started. I think the NHL games only applies to Jr. Players as they are one or the other as they cant play in the AHL. Number of games isn't part of the equation. Maybe someone can give more technical details but the short is non-issue.
