It posted twice because it was so important!Not sure why this posted twice. But I don't think what your meat cutter friend said has any truth to it. Two of these ranches locally raise and slaughter their cattle on the spot. As for Publix other than their chicken I won't buy meat from them, their beef has no marbling. Which is why I ran down these local ranchers
Yes, she was wrong - but she's a woman and there was no convincing her.
When / if buying beef at Publix, do your own grading. One of the best steaks I've had in the last year was from Publix.
But you are correct, most of their steaks have little to no marbling - just right for Karens!
