Not gonna lie, I wasn't a fan of this comment. If he had said "if you don't see color, you don't see diversity" it would have landed better IMO.

He's also young.

I mean, I can see that he's a black man, I just didn't think about him being a black man because it didn't occur to me that it should make any difference one way or another.

Ya, I imagine he was at least slightly nervous during the press conference and I thought RK's intro was way too old-man-ish in vibe, making it odd.

He seems like a good dude.

It wasn't that long ago that everyone believed that black QBs were too stupid to be QBs in the NFL Then came Warren Moon................. The same was believed about men trying to be NFL coaches.

I have a black son-in-law, seven half black nieces and nephews, they are all dark skinned. Yet I hug 'em, kiss 'em and never think twice about it, unless I'm in here.
