I haven't got one yet. I took one look into the merchandise store coming in and going out. Decided I could wait. I'm going again Saturday night. Maybe it won't be as sardinish.

A funny thing happened Saturday. Sorta.

Instead of going to the game, I decided to go to the ER instead. This afternoon I finally got to check out of the hospital.

It's funny how one's life can do a complete 180. Sorta.

The guy who used to walk all over hell and creation is sitting at home on oxygen.

I had four days to contemplate my future. I'm not sure what the 12 steps are, but I decided to skip straight to acceptance. Probably because I realize negative emotions always arise because things don't go the way we thought they would, or should. And negative emotions are painful.

I'll miss walking. But who knows what adventures lie in wait?

When I got out of the hospital, I believed myself to be much worse off than I actually am. Now that I've got some rest, I'm not feeling so drained. I got about 12 hours sleep over the four days I was in. It makes me wonder how anyone gets well in one of those places.

Sorry to hear that. I know how you feel though. I was in for an entire week (and they wanted me to stay another day or 2) over the winter. I had to stay upright the first 48 hours too. Those beds are impossible to sleep more than 2 hours in. Thankfully I seem to be almost fully recovered (knocks on wood, throws salt over shoulder).

Take it easy.

Hopefully, in short time, you'll be back outside walking all over hell and creation. It's what you enjoy and it brings peace and a clearing of the mind.
