He throws a tantrum and leaves the game, quits on his team, Jordan never did that. Jordan played with the flu, Lebron sat games out with a stomach ache.
LeBron's a quitter, Jordan was not
Tantrum? The hell are you talking about?

What's LeBron a hypocrite about, specifically?
Maybe I don’t understand the definition like I thought I did. What does it mean to have one opinion on things when it affects you and another when it doesn’t?

Yep, he's a quitter, once a quitter always a quitter. Jordan never quit or left his team on the floor that's what separates the 2

The play in game for one, he was for it then it was the worst thing in the world. Another would be his failure to look at all abuse of peoples rights equally, specifically China.

Not sure exactly what you're talking about. But if he walked off the floor in that fashion it would have made national headlines. You sure you're not exaggerating things since you don't care for him?

LeBron isn't MJ. His Airness is the GOAT. But it says a lot about LeBron's unmatched career that the only player he's ever compared to is # 23. So basically it seems like you're giving him shit for only being the 2nd greatest player ever. And yeah I know that's debatable. But that's for a different topic.

Never quit, except for the nearly 2 years playing baseball and later walking out on his team because he didn't get to keep his coach.

We already discussed the play in comment, he was talking shit about it so what? Tiny issue, come on man.

And again, China? The fuck? He's not a politician, he's an athlete.

Your hate has no rational basis. And that's fine, emotions aren't rational and this is just sports. You can hate whoever you want. But clearly that's all this is, you hate the guy because he won't shut up and dribble.

See, I kind of see it as the opposite.

Lebron, off the court, can be very polarizing with some of his political views and SJW stuff.

But Lebron on the court, is one of the most team oriented players ever.

His insistence on trying to play GM can be a bit off putting...but even then, he's won at least one title at all 3 stops and this is the first year that it has blown up on him.

Ok, I agree. I just meant his stuff off the court with his charities and school but yeah his political views are off putting

Had he shut up and dribbled, he wouldn't have have come off as a hypocrite.

And you don't get to just dismiss the evidence you asked for because he's "just an athlete".

It was hypocritical regardless of who he is.

If you don't like his game, *which is what you've said*, you simply don't like the NBA. I've seen better scorers, rebounders, defenders, and better players at dishing out assists. But I have never seen one player put it all together like he has.

No NBAer has had the spotlight on him during his career like LeBron. And not only has he met all the expectations put on him, he's surpassed him.

He bitches like no one else on the court... He expects everything to be called and nothing to be called against him (yes pretty much all of the NBA is this way). I never said I didn't think he was a great player though

It did 7 years ago and it's true I'm not a Lebron fan ( but that doesn't mean I hate or even don't respect his talent )

Being an old head who has watched the NBA for well over 50 years I don't think Jordan was the greatest either.

what defines greatness is not how you changed the game but rather why the game changed because of you. ( Dick Fosbury is a classic example )

He played thru a hangover.

That Last Dance was lie after lie.

Still the best player ever, but he is far from honest.

He left the court in mid game back in his early days. You can say he lost his competitive nature, Jordan never did that
No you can't say that LOL

I don't know what Curry has done but I'll take your word for it, he is tremendous ( and off the court too ) I have met a lot of NBA stars ( along with countless celebrities ) and I will say the guys today are more active in paying attention to youth and youth development.
I'll also agree that greatness and greatest are separate achievements and that a fine line can be crossed from either direction to substantiate a claim for either

If you’re more focused on what LeBron does off the basketball court in politics, then you’re probably more into politics than you are into basketball.

Which means you should probably take your argument to the political thread.
