Definitely my favorite part of the whole movie was that and the next couple minutes.

I liked the part where Burr looks up, stares out right at Jimmy' Stewart's window and finally realizes Stewart has been watching him and knows what he did.

Holy Crap!

Absolutely. You knew at that point, something big was going to happen.

Watched Captain America - Winter Soldier last night. Entertaining and action packed. A bit ridiculous on the fight scenes, but it's based on a comic book so I give it a pass.

Avengers: Age of Ultron 4.5/5 (A little long however really amazing movie)
Ultron is starting get a lot of bad rep because it has plot holes and is ridiculous, but it is a comic book movie. I think it is a bit ridiculous to hold it to too high a standard plot-wise. I liked it because it was a fun movie that moved the MCU story forward (Hulk abandoning the team, Hawkeye establishing some non-Avengers life, Stark and Rodgers butting heads, etc). It wasnt the best MCU product, but it was a fine addition, IMHO.

Sicario.

One of the best thrillers I've ever seen. Del Toro is possibly the most underappreciated actor of his generation, and he has an Oscar.

Saw Black Mass too just last night. It was good, but not on the same level as Sicario.

Maybe it's because I expected it to be terrible because of the way critics panned it, but I was blown away by how solid this movie was. On the other end of the spectrum...

Straight Outta Compton

4 out of 5

I cannot describe how awful this movie was. There was no character development and no actual message. Every character was a stereotype. There was zero depth to any person in the movie. The kids start out talented. Somebody finds them. They are still talented. They fight. The break up. The one who is dead dies. In between, they swear a lot, do a lot of drugs, and rap the songs we all know they rapped. In other words, it was just a summary of everything NWA is famous for with no nuances and no secrets.

Whenever a biopic has to have characters tell you "you guys are important," it's probably because the movie can't adequately describe why they actually matter. And that's exactly what happened in Straight Outta Compton.

Picky, picky. It sounds like you have unreasonable expectations.

My biggest complaints are a) that the movie should have been longer as it went way too fast post-NWA's breakup and b) the exaggerations of Suge Knight's violence/threatening of Eazy-E and the Detroit concert scene were a bit much.

I thought it did a great job sensationalizing NWA much like they sensationalized Violence/gangsta life/bangin' hos/tRaiders and Kings.

I want to see Sicario, heard Del Toro was beyond good.

As far as Black Mass is concerned, it's very close to what actually happened. If you're not from the Boston area, it might appear to be disjointed. The whole underlying plot is that the FBI actually gave James "Whitey" Bulger permission to kill the Providence Mafia guys and walk away. Problem was that Bulger killed 13 other civilians and walked away. When the top FBI brass found out, Bulger disappeared for almost 15 years making him #1 on the most wanted list.

Saw Martian...............much better than I thought it would be.

A bit hokey but worth the $8.00.

According to what I've heard, the movie is as factual as possible. The technology is available or actually in use.
Mars is supposedly very close to what is depicted in the movie. I'll add it to my Blu Ray collection when it's released.

Consulted with NASA when putting the movie together
