Ted -- even though i'm a seth mcfarlane fan, have to say i was pretty disappointed. maybe too many people had hyped it up to me too much but i think i only laughed twice.

Man of Steel- Not a Superman fan at all, but I really enjoyed the movie a lot. Thought the fight season were excellent. Can't wait for the next one.

I had never even heard of this movie, and don't ever remember it coming out.
I liked it though. A different kind of movie to be sure, but interesting.
A little long at 126 minutes.
I'd give it a 7/10.

Saw The Social Network again late last night and it's still easily the best movie of 2010.

I still have no idea how Kings Speech won over The Social Network, Black Swan AND Inception that year at the oscar. Social Network and David Fincher had literally swept every award ceremony for best picture and best director leading up to the oscar and was a shoe in for the win. Probably the biggest oscar upset of the decade.

The Academy almost always favors period biopics or period epics for the best picture.

yeah, 7 is probably high. but even though it slowed up at the end, it had me sucked into the plot enough to overcome that. 6 is probably about right because it's not a movie i'll watch over and over again.

Pretty good. Probably not as good as the 1st but it didn't disappoint me at all and was almost as good as the 1st. (I really liked the 1st one)
