Really? I thought the first one was unwatchable.

It's not for everyone. It's one of those love it or hate it movies. The 2nd was much more like a traditional horror movie though I thought. I actually just watched it again with a few friends.

To each their own, enjoyed it.

A lot of movies are like that, it's like with the movie Drag Me To Hell, not a big fan of it, but have seen plenty of good reviews about it. I had mixed feelings about it, Insidious though I enjoyed.

the gf has never seen them, so we're going to power through all of them, and then the first hobbit, and hopefully still catch the new hobbit in theaters

Watched Good Will Hunting again a few days ago. What an amazing film. Saw The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug over the weekend too. I'd give it a 7/10

Finally saw Argo. In what universe was that a better film than Zero Dark Thirty?

Can't wait to see Gravity. Alfonso Cuaron is a genius.

Watched 'Master and Commander' from start to finish for the first time. For some odd reason I had never seen this whole movie, only parts of it.

Was a really good movie that didn't have slow spots, one I'll see a few more times.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire- 9/10.

I honestly liked this one much better than the first one. Everything leading up to the battle was awesome. Can't wait for the next one and see what happens with District 13 and the revolution.

Also LOVE Jennifer Lawrence

Yeah, much better than the first. I didn't know it was going to be a cliffhanger and we'd have to wait a year to see the finish, though. I would have waited until nest year and watched both had I known.

Am I the only one who thinks Jack Reacher was a damn good movie? I am not a big Tom Cruise fan either, and still think it was pretty damn badass.

True, but definitely looking forward to the 2 part Mocking Jay film

Two VERY good movies, loved both of them. Liked Argo a bit more, the whole ending sscene, the way Affleck was able to build up all that intensity into one scene, was fascinating.

Oldboy (2003) - 8/10

The Chaser (2008) - 8.5/10

Both Korean movies. Oldboy was just remade and I believe is still in theaters. Such great pieces of film... However if you're a fan of happy endings, it appears Koreans don't believe in those.

Both are on Netflix.

I think there are a lot of massage parlours out there that didn't get that message...
