There is a youtube video were they breakdown how Sandler clears house on everyone one of these suckass movies and it's a total racket. Because his production company is aligned with Sony pictures, there are multiple Sony product endorsements in each of his films which covers a lot of the production costs. And though out every movie now, there are dozens of other product endorsements. Then he invites all his old SNL buddies to be in every movie. Cuts them checks and they all have a huge laugh at the racket. Keeps the majority of it for himself.

I haven't watched anything he's done in years. His movies suckass for a long time now, and I'd rather die than contribute my coin to his unfunny shitfests. Zohan was probably the last one he made that was even remotely funny.

Agreed. It's like they took the book and turned it into a rap video. I laughed inside when I took the gf and at first she thought it was great I was taking her to a movie like this, instead of the usual action flicks. She never read the book. She thought it was going to be this wonderful love story and spend 2 hours getting wet over Leo.

I could tell she was pissed off that the woman in the movie ends up a pathetic, weak, gold digger and makes their species look so bad.

New Thor Movie.

I was obviously darker than the first which Marvel is moving all it's movies in that direction which was fine by me. But I really didn't get anything out of it besides wishing I could have those 2 hours of my life back.

Can't stand Natalie Portman. Most overrated actress out there.

Saw Dallas Buyers Club yesterday. Pretty good movie. Hard R. Matthew McC. is excellent in his role. A little long and sometimes hard to watch.

I don't go to movies. I generally rent 'em, and occasionally buy one.

Just bought and watched the director's cut of Dark City...a weird (but very good) hybrid of a 1940s film noire and a modern sci-fi tale. Much better than the theatrical version, which was dumbed down at the studio's insistence.

I saw Thor II over the weekend. Better than the first, but I am not a huge fan of the Thor character.

I also saw Europa Report. I had never heard of this one, so I went in with no expectations. I enjoyed it. Not an award winner, but it was enjoyable enough.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire- 9/10.

I honestly liked this one much better than the first one. Everything leading up to the battle was awesome. Can't wait for the next one and see what happens with District 13 and the revolution.

Saw The Social Network again late last night and it's still easily the best movie of 2010.

I still have no idea how Kings Speech won over The Social Network, Black Swan AND Inception that year at the oscar. Social Network and David Fincher had literally swept every award ceremony for best picture and best director leading up to the oscar and was a shoe in for the win. Probably the biggest oscar upset of the decade.
