Just watched What We Do In The Shadows. I knew nothing about the movie nor have i even heard about it until tonight and I have to admit, I thought it was freakn hilarious! It had me laughing from the beginning. 4/5 stars for me.

"The Mack" - Looked like a low-budget 70's flick about pimpin'. Richard Pryor and the dude that played TC on Magnum PI were in it. It was late and there was nothing else on.

Then I watched some old movie called "Blue Collar" with Richard Pryor, Harvey Keitel, Ed Begley Jr., Lane Smith, and some others. Again, it was late, but this one was better than "The Mack."

BORING ASS MOVIE!!

Wow. I had heard it was a meh movie, but that was ridiculous. I respect the process and novelty of it, but take that away, and it offered absolutely nothing.

3/10, just for the novelty.

Birdman

Yes, it was pretentious. Yes, it was another movie where actors are basically patting themselves on the back.

But if you get past that, it was an actually pretty OK movie. The clear similarities between the main character and Keaton IRL were fun, and the single-take aspect (using camera tricks - it wasn't REALLY one take) actually added to the story, IMHO.

Not a great flick, and I fully understand the point if those who can't stand it. But in my opinion, worth the time, if not ultimately memorable.

huh.........I watched it for app. 45 mins and could not take it any longer.I think it very well could hae been I just can`t take that English accent.
DDL is one of my favorite actors oall-time,and he couldn`t save the movie for me.

Pretty good movie, kept my interest the whole time. Fairly predictable. They may have went a little over the top on the professors views but they had to make it a point I guess
