Obviously based purely on religion, and I'm not very religious. Didn't stop me from enjoying it though. Decent movie.

But yea I kinda see what you mean about Noah. I guess I was in the right mood for it at that moment, because I passed over it in Netflix a bunch of times prior. Didn't think it would be a movie that I could get into. That being said, I'll probably never watch it again.

That is key. I've been there many times. Especially when it comes to comedies.

That's one of the reasons I like Tarantino movies...they don't take themselves seriously.

Understood. I like them too.

But that was too much for my tastes.

Maybe I should re-watch it since I've only seen it the once.

I didn't like KB1 the first time I saw it either because of all the gratuitous blood. The second time I saw it, though, I was expecting it and I was able to see it for the spoof/homage that it was intended to be, and I fell in love with the movie.

The Naked Gun - all time classic 7/10
London Boulevard - had potential but wasn't good 4/10
The Art of the Steal - suprisingly good and had great humor 8/10

Saw Fury yesterday.

I thought it was very good. Granted, it does not stand up to SPR or FMJ, but those are some of the best movies ever.

I watched the latest Hunger Games movie with the wife this weekend. It wasn't as good as the first two, it just seemed like a not a lot happened. I know that it is setting up the next movie but still. 5/10

My wife got me into the movies (she started with the books). I hate being left hanging so I read the book. I think they set it up okay, but they have a lot to fit in to part 2.

No Tears For the Dead

7.5/10 Pretty badass. Hate having to read subtitles in foreign films, but this one was worth it. It has a good amount of English mixed in. Great action flick!
