God's Not Dead.

Pretty good movie, kept my interest the whole time. Fairly predictable. They may have went a little over the top on the professors views but they had to make it a point I guess

7/10
I can't stand preachy movies, in either direction.

This movie was made with a very defined demographic in mind, so I guess it was successful on that front, but being slammed over the head with only one side of an argument never leaves me fulfilled.

However, the main characters girlfriend was quite hot, even if she was a HORRIBLE actress...

I agree with that, but I think that you had to expect that going in.

Amour

3/5

French movie about an elderly couple. The most realistic movie I've seen about the final weeks before death.

Saw

2/5

Better premise than most horror movies, but just terribly made. Horrible acting.

Possession...picked it up thinking it was going to be something very different.
4.5/10, although the alternate ending was actually 1/2 hour long and totally switched the movie around.

I am halfway through "No Country For Old Men" up at my condo, guessing it'll be a 9/10 and I can't wait to finish it. Great performances all around so far...the coin flip scene was hair raising.

My wife chose it. Sat thru 2:45 of "Boyhood"....my gawd, that was an awfully depressing movie. Not sure how it got so much attention except for the fact it took 12-14 years to make.

As for "A million ways to die in the west".....a little cheesy but I laughed a lot watching it. Liked it alot

I didn't care for Boyhood because nothing of substance ever happened. There was no logical plot line or protagonist growth or realization in the end. It was just '..and then this happened...then this happened...and then this happened.." Not sure it was worth all of the critic acclamation it received.

I watched 2 Guns last night. Had low expectations going in, so I wouldn't say I was disappointed. It entertained me.

Wasn't the last movie I saw, but was reminded of "Basketball Diaries"...one of Decaprio's 1st films. Pretty edging, kinda depressing, but was well acted and written.

X Men: Days of Future Past

I'll have to say that it was disappointing.
I like most of the Xmen movies but this one was a stinker. Didn't hold my interest at all.

I watched the latest Hunger Games movie with the wife this weekend. It wasn't as good as the first two, it just seemed like a not a lot happened. I know that it is setting up the next movie but still. 5/10

Saw "The Imitation Game"
Thought it was an excellent movie. Good story, good acting, good directing.
Got a little slow in places and could have been 15 minutes shorter for my taste but all in all a fine movie.

Obviously based purely on religion, and I'm not very religious. Didn't stop me from enjoying it though. Decent movie.
